ZWILLING Pro 8-inch Carving Knife

Best general slicing knife I have ever owned. It just slides through meats and vegetables (for example lemons) with very little effort. It combined with my 8" Chef's knife are about all I ever use any more.

I have small hands and this knife is the perfect size for me. It is fairly lightweight, very well balanced, and fits very comfortably in my hand. The edge is very sharp and is easy to maintain it's sharpness with sharpening and use of a steel.

Well made, razor sharp retains its edge, excellent knife!

I like the length of the knife and the smooth slices it makes.

This slicer/carving knife is really essential when carving whole cooked beef or chicken and also when slicing raw meat at whatever size you need it. The precision on cutting and slicing is top notch.

Have had now for 8 months and it is still as sharp today as when I bought it. I use a Zwilling sharpening steel to keep it sharp.

Curved bolster is so much more comfortable in my hand. Also love that the I can sharpen the entire blade because the bolster does not interfere with the blade. The Zwilling special formula steel is stain resistant and stays nice and sharp. Also easy to hone and re sharpen. The blade glides through meats and poultry, and I love the paper thin ham and roast beef slices I am able to achieve using the Pro. Highly recommended.

This is my go-to knife not just for roasts but also I use it for my fajita meat and birthday cake! Every Christmas I make baked Alaska and this is the knife that slices right through the ice cream center but preserves the beautiful meringue exterior. I love how sturdy it is because it is forged and my thumb and finger have a comfortable spot on this curved bolster.
