This knife is just right for completing most meal prep tasks. It's not so big as to be unwieldy, but it is big enough to take on slicing heads of lettuce or thick meats. It makes short work of slicing up vegetables and the blade is perfect for dicing and mincing.
These are Great knives. I have a few that were wedding gifts. Excellent sharp knives that can cut anything from cauliflower to winter squashes with relative ease.
Great balance, good looks, super sharp! Fits perfectly in my hand.
Yea, I broke down and bought the Pro to replace cheaper Zwilling knives and there is a difference. Absolutely flawless and I mean razor sharp. I like to sharpen my own but could never come even close so it must be the German steel and fabrication that makes the difference. I am sold on Zwilling products.
I love this 7 inch slim chef knife. I have a larger heavier chef knife and I use it but wanted something that was a little smaller, lighter and more nimble. The 7 inch is so easy to use. Extra sharp and with the smooth bolster so easy to pinch when chopping. Love the riveted grip and full tang. Hefty feel but balance is perfect. Exactly what I wanted!
After purchasing the great 4-Star paring knives, I bought this to fill a gap for medium size cutting needs. Wow! What a wonderful product - one of the best knives I have ever purchased. The weight, balance, shape of the handle & tang give a feeling of effortless control even for tough cuts. The functional blade shape combined with Zwilling's remarkable steel have instantly made this my go-to kitchen cutting tool. Not inexpensive, but worth every penny.
Very nice "mid sized" (between 6 & 8), adds a convenient size for when one is too small & the other overkill. Very handy & easy on the hand. Very happy with purchase
This is a fine quality knife. However, although it is described as ‘narrow' on the website, it is NOT a narrow blade, like my other Pros This is definitely a wider blade, which makes it rather unwieldy in my opinion. Perhaps it it simply the size and control of my own hand, but it feels awkward no matter how I try to adjust my grip. Would MUCH RATHER the old-style narrow blade.
Great knife, just didn't fit right or feel right in my hand. I thought I was ordering a larger version of Zwilling 6-inch I had purchased a month ago. I'll find some uses for it. Again, the knife is great, sut didn't fit or feel well in my hands.
I wanted a 7" chef's knife, the problem is the handle - it is substantially smaller than the 8" chef's or the 7" rocking santoku. Had to return it AND pay the return postage.
