ZWILLING Professional "S" 20-pc Knife Block Set

I have used Henckle Knives for over 25 years. I put my old set in our Motorhome and bought this new set for the house.

This set has it all! Even a boning knife and a bird's beak paring knife! two of my favorites. The Pro S line is tried and true. The quality of the steel can last for decades - mine has - and the comfortable handles are perfect for medium and small hands. If you have bigger hands, check out the new Pro line. Little bigger grips and a little more weight. This set is complete with high quality straight edge steak knives so you can maintain their edge. But doesn't take a lot, these knives stay sharp wit regular honing. I do recommend hand washing, so they stay looking like new. They are dishwasher safe though.

The quality can be felt as soon as you begin opening the package, from the way they are packed to the detailed description provided. They look terrific on my counter and are at arm's reach during cooking/prep.

everything you could ever need in one block set. the selection in this set of superior knives is unreal! A boning knife, a santoku, 3 different shaped parers plus 8 steak knives! And you still get the other regular knives, normally in a block set. These knives are made to last a lifetime so i think they will cover all of you kitchen culinary needs!

Pro S knives were my first introduction to premium knives. I was overwhelmed with the sharpness and how well they stayed sharp. They feel great and chop even better. I spend a lot of time in the kitchen and having good knives is such a game changer. When you get a set like this, you are set for the rest of your life. It may be one of your most important purchases. This block set is truly the best! Every single knife, including the eight steak knives, are made in Germany and forged from German steel. That means they are all very sharp, have that great weight and feel of a forged knife, and are going to stay sharp. A few "bonus knives" that you wouldn't normally get are the boning knife, perfect for working around chicken bones or segmenting oranges. The bird's beak parer is perfect for coring strawberries or deveining shrimp. And of course the bread knife, slices through crusty bread without smooshing or flattening.

This block has everything you need and more. With plenty of knives to utilize for every task in the kitchen, this block also has you covered with eight steak knives. Easily maintain the edge and angle of your blades with frequent use of the included honing steel. The Pro S knives are perfectly weighted and balanced with a comfortable full bolster for a controlled grip.

These set is one of my favorite to sell at my store and with 8pc. steak set Professional S, that addition to this block is worth the price.!!! I know for a fact that Prof. S is something you can never say anything bad about it. It is all made in Germany knives and those steak knives are awesome!

Was debating between the Pro and Pro S and opted for the Pro S as the weight felt more comfortable in my hand. The material is high quality and the blade profile is fantastic. Overall great products.
