ZWILLING Professional S Knife Set with Block, Chef’s Knife, Serrated Utility Knife, 7 Piece, Bamboo

Have had the knives for a month and am very happy with them. The balance is great and allows me to do more with my hands getting tired. Am following the instructions to use the steel frequently and so far they are holding their edge very well. Hope they hold up for a long time. I received this as a Christmas gift from my wife in 2015. I am definitely not a Chef or a Knife expert, but I will tell you this, I have never had such an amazing set of knives. Im in my 50's and never bought any nice Knives and wow what a enlightening experience to have such and awesome set of tools for the kitchen. These are like cutting lasers they make any task easy and fun. I have since Christmas bought my meat in bulk and cut my own Prime Rib and Filet Mignon saving a bundle and having the Joy of being my own butcher. When Preparing Dishes and various cooking tasks I eagerly ask my wife to let me do it so I can use the Zwilling's :-) Cook year round on the grill now even when there is snow on the porch. It could be Steak, Salmon, Chicken, Pork, you name it I am going to cut it up with my wonderful knives They are as shop today as the day I received them, I use the sharpener every now and then to keep the edge. I wash them immediately and treat them like fine china and dry them right off and return them to the wonderful block which has room for more of these wonderful tools :-) Next purchase or hopefully Christmas gift is top of the line German Made Steak Knives from Zwilling I Highly Recommend anything sold by Zwilling! Received this block set as a birthday/new house gift. Beyond thrilled. We've had Zwilling steak knives forever and they've held up beautifully, so it's great to finally start collecting a full set. The knives are comfortable, very sharp, and make cooking a breeze.

I have worked in kitchens before and I am currently enrolled in the Culinary Institute of America. I can safely say that this is the best set of knives I have ever purchased. So much so that I recommended ZWILLING to my father and he got a set for himself. Properly shaped handle, durable blade, and stores nicely; everything one needs.

I bought these knives 2 months ago and we love them. I didn't realize I was using dull knives until I used these. Excellent quality and beautiful to look at. I just wish I had purchased the set came with more knives. Will have to fill in later.

I bought these for our winter home in Florida. I love them so much I bought another set for our home in Illinois. I truly enjoy cooking with these knives.

Purchased this set after using cut I knives for a long while. It was apparent immediately that the build quality, ergonomics, and sharpness were worlds better than what used previously. I couldn't be happier.

I've been using this knife set for a little while now and I'm really impressed with the overall quality. The knives feel well-balanced in hand, and the weight is just right, not too heavy, but still sturdy and controlled.

Classic set! Always used Zwilling and wanted a new set - very happy with purchase and this set had everything I needed. Very sharp, good handles and now we can put Zwilling steak knives in the extra slots

Overall the knives are wonderful and very sharp, but the set was supposed to come with a 3 inch paring knife and they sent a 4 inch. I already have a 4 inch so I'm pretty disappointed. The shipping was incredibly slow, took a little over 2 weeks. There isn't a way to email Zwilling and when I tried calling, I got through all the options and then the call disconnected after a recording that basically said, “don't call us.” They make high quality products, but they don't seem concerned with customer satisfaction. I would definitely recommend these knives but in retrospect I wish I'd purchased them in a store with a product guarantee.
