I like having my steak knives in a block set. Since they're on the counter, we use them regularly and for uses. I like the serrated top half of the knife while the bottom half is straight edged. This makes for a clean slice without shredding your meats. Great 9 pack!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The block is a nice and heavy addition for the knife storage. The knives came sharp straight out of the box. Although other reviews mentioned rust even after washing and drying, it hasn't happened to me yet.

Very good steak knives. The knife handles color seems to fade if subjected to dishwasher. Hand-washing might be a better option if you want to maintain the color aesthetics.

Wonderful set of knives, my family's used Zwilling for years and are having a great time with this set!
