Zyxel C4000BZ 3.0 Gbps DSL Modem Router

I was nervous to purchase this as I wasn't sure it would work with new century link service but it worked like a breeze. Only online for a week, but thus far no issues. Connected quick. I attached a mesh system to it and set up our network from that so can't comment on if that would be easy but I did connect my phone direct to the modem immediately and it worked great with the passwords provided.

Modem was brand new in the original packaging as described. Works great with my Centurylink/Quantum service. No issues at all, the setup was extremely easy with the instructions provided by the seller. It was well-packaged and arrived in less than 2 days from purchase. Fantastic experience!

The router, once installed, works great. Only problem, absolutely no instructions are enclosed. I did have problems installing the device except for having installed an older router. The price was very good compared to the $200 that CenturyLink charges. The router comes in a CenturyLink box and the router has a CenturyLink identification on the front.

This modem/router works perfectly with Kinetic by Windstream. I was looking for a modem that would save me the rental fee on my kinetic bill and this one is doing exactly that! Fast high speed fiber optics, the speed is fantastic. I can have two TVs going with an adapter, and several tablets without it slowing down. Work's great!

Would have been 5 stars, BUT as it is next to impossible to get in touch with CenturyLink, some type of documentation should be included with the Modem. Any kind of documentation. But there was ABSOLUTELY nothing included with the hardware. If you know nothing about the operation of the modem, do not buy this. If you are knowledgeable this is a great deal and great equipment

I was told that a signature was required for delivery of this product and it would be delivered on Monday. I got a notification that actually it would be delivered on Saturday with a four hour window. So I hung around to give the signature. I got a notification that it was delivered. Puzzled, I looked all around the front. Never saw a delivery truck, didn't give a signature, didn't see a picture of where it was delivered. I checked the address. It was correct. I have contacted Walmart. They said they were working with the vendor. I have heard nothing in the last couple of days. I'm NOT happy about this service at all.

Failed 4 months later. Bought Sept 24 2025 , failed Jan 16 2026. Today woke up modem flashing blue and not connecting. Called Bright speed thinking it was a line problem , they sent out Tech who checked line from pole to modem connection and all passed. Checked modem and tried many times to connect through bright speed hub and could not get modem to pass internet connection on to wifi or the port connections in back of modem. Tech plugged in a test modem and internet /wifi come on instantly after boot up. Would not recommend buying and seek elsewhere as getting the jerk around getting it replaced/fixed even though its only "4" months old !

It died in one day. Just would not turn on again. And when we went back to get a replacement the price had gone up almost $45!!! And we only had the option for a refund not a replacement.

I ordered one product and Walmart shipped me something else. I agreed to keep the wrong device partly because I needed a router to be installed very quickly and also due to the commitment by Walmart to refund about $33 of what I had paid for the superior and more expensive device that though ordered was not shipped. I still have not received my refund.

l bought by the advice of my phone company. Was not compatible with my system. The clerk at the store was ver helpful with the return. i don't blame Walmart or any clerks. Appreciated all the help i received
