(10 pack) Pen+Gear Large Moving Boxes, 27L x 15W x 17H, Kraft

I ordered 10 large size boxes and to my surprise, they were way more spacious than I thought, but exactly what I needed. The quality was solid, firm, and easily stackable. Boxes are just boxes, right? Well, for packing and moving, you can be confident in watching your step versus dropping the box.

I have used this brand and size moving box for multiple moves. Boxes are sturdy and can be put together quickly. This size box holds LOTS of items and thus becomes very heavy quickly. The contents and weight may dictate the need to use the heavy duty boxes and perhaps a smaller size box. Also consider the weight and length (27") of the box when stacked on a dolly and getting them through door openings, and up and down steps and/or a ramp. The side handles could be helpful if not for being covered over by packing tape (to seal the box). Side note: consider the actual flat dimensions of this box if you are picking them up in your vehicle. Delivery from the store is a great option.

I liked the boxes for what I needed them for, I was updating my daughters bedroom from a young girls room to teenager. I had to clean her whole bedroom fast for painting and new bedroom furniture. It was a complete mess with toys, books, clothes, etc. Ever since she was a baby and these boxes more than fulfilled the job. They are pretty sturdy also if you plan on using them for moving purposes and you can't beat the price.

I am starting to pack up my house and in order for it to cost a lot of money I figured I would take a look and see what Wal Mart had, I have to say I was very impressed by the thickness and sturdiness of these boxes. They give you room to write what's in the boxes and I thought it was pretty nice that they give you instructional tips on properly ceiling a box or taping a box I would not recommend putting heavy items in the box although it has handles to carry if there's too much weight the handles on the side aren't going to be as effective as if you were to pack lighter items in these boxes. Overall I definitely recommend these for a lower cost solid option

These boxes are huge. We are moving and they are to big for packing up the kitchen. If they were full no one could move them. I suggest you order the medium as they are a size that is easier to move around. The boxes are sturdy and support a full load well. I am impressed with the price per box, it is better than anywhere else I looked.

I bought 10 of these Pen Gear large moving boxes for my recent apartment move, thinking the size and built-in handles would make things easier. At first glance, they look sturdy and well-designed—but once you start packing heavier items, the flaws show. The material is thin and punctures easily. The side handles are convenient, but they tear if the box is too heavy or if you pull too hard. I used them for kitchen items and storage, but quickly realized they're better suited for lighter loads. Next time, I'll stick with plastic tubs for anything heavy and reserve these boxes for things like linens or clothes. Also, I'd go with a smaller size—bigger isn't always better when the box can't hold up under weight. If you're moving light stuff, these will do the job. But for anything substantial, you might want to invest in something sturdier.

Great boxes. Some of them don't align properly even when put together carefully that creates stresses on the box in different ways and causes failures. The boxes are too big so need to be careful about what and how much you pack because it can get heavy and give out.

Bought these in both Medium and Large Size, for shipping clothing and accessories for a trip. Beware of the dimensions printed on the box, if youare going to use them for shipping. The dimensions printed on the boxes are NOT the actual dimentions and UPS charged me extra on every package because of it. They are also NOT sturdy. When they arrived at their destination they were destroyed, even though they weren't even heavy or overpacked. I had to throw these away and buy new boxes to ship the items back home.

The item was described as a "pack of 25 large moving boxes". What I received was 25 separate boxes, not a bundle or pack. They were just dumped in a pile of separate pieces, blocking the walkway to the door. To me, a pack is multiple items bundled together, not separate, individual pieces.

The boxes look much bigger than they are. Much smaller. Also I did pick up and waited over an hour due to being in the wrong space (my fault) but I called and told them and it still took over a half hour to bring the boxes out which was my only order.
