10 Strawberry Street Simply White Round 45-Piece Dinnerware Set

I am very happy with these dishes. The shape is nice, and the look of them is what I wanted. I did not give them 5 stars, because the cups seem small, though they measure 8oz. and the bowls are very shallow. The bowls are great for salad, but not soup. I have put these dishes in the dishwasher, the microwave and the toaster oven and they performed well. WalMart has been great, too. My first shipment arrived with 3 broken dishes. The sent me a replacement immediately, and that one arrived in perfect condition.

For an inexpensive dish set I am pleased with the purchase. They are light weight and look more like china than stoneware. The only complaint is the coffee cups are so small they look like they are for espresso.

During the shipping, 4 items were broken and they sent me those 4 items within 4 days of reporting it. They are beautiful and elegant dishware and I would recommend them to friends and family! I am very satisfied with my new dishes.

I have decided to keep this set, but am not crazy about it. The price was certainly right. Primarily, I am disappointed with the shade of white; it's more of a very light gray, which is only apparent once seen in person. There were also some significant flaws, including many visible scratches on the serving surface of one dinner plate, and a large brown spot on the handle of one cup. Most pieces were OK, but I think the cup should not have passed even the most cursory quality control inspection. Also, the cups are noticeably more gray than the rest of the set. I think I will discard them, though I like their shape much more than the mugs included in the smaller sets. In my first large dinner using the set, I found the shade of white acceptable when used against a fairly dark red tablecloth. Again, the price is very appealing. If I decide the dark shade of white is acceptable, I will consider buying a second set and discarding the most flawed pieces.

We got this set along with an additional set of plates/bowls/mugs to replace our old dishes that kept breaking. They are definitely a bright white, which is exactly what we were looking for. We've had them less than 2 weeks, so I can't speak to the durability of them, but others looking for dishes out there need to be aware of the dimensions of the items in the set. When the description says that it comes with "cups," it doesn't mean "mugs." The cups that come with this set are more like cappuccino-sized cups, not regular coffee mugs. Also, the bowls are more along the line of salad bowls, NOT ceral bowls (as the description states). We don't drink much coffee, so the small cups aren't that big of a deal. But we use bowls every day. And these aren't for regular use (i.e., cereal, soup, etc.). So now I have to find a purchase some white bowls for regular every day usage, which is a bit of a hassle (not to mention spending more money). All-in-all, we like the set, but are pretty disappointed about the bowls.

This is a good buy but it didn't work for me. I read the reviews and I was led to believe the plates were light weight. I got rid of all the dishes I had because I'm handicapped and unable to handle heavy things anymore. When this set arrived the box was so heavy I couldn't carry it so I opened it and removed 1 plate. It's as heavy as the ones I just got rid of so it has to go back. Very sorry.

I purchased these dishes online and they were shipped to the store for pickup. I wrapped up the box for a Christmas gift and when my daughter opened them, they were mostly all broken. I was very dissapointed to say the least, and now I have to return them to the store and make 2 more trips.

The coffee cups are maybe 4oz. The bowls wouldn't fit a single serving soup can and the “dessert plates” are glorified saucers. Would work for a kids play set but not for actual function unless you had bariatric surgery.

I returned these same day I got them. They arrived in one piece but they are NOT white. Bowls are not even an inch deep. Coffee cups are tiny. I read reviews and thought they'd be great. I was wrong. They remind me of dingy hotel dishes.
