I've tried plenty of different Mac n cheese but, this is my favorite. It's made with Velveeta cheese so, it's very cheesy and good. It's easy to prepare. Just open and cook in a pan. I will a lot of times add a can of tuna fish to it, and cook them together. Gives it a little extra something. But, it's also good just by itself. If you're a Mac n cheese lover, I highly recommend trying this one.
This has been pleasing our family for YEARS! It's a great side with hot dogs or meatloaf and just soothes the soul in an inexpensive and time saving way.
i like this, and at $1-ish a can it's a good value, it's mild tasting and soft texture make it easy to eat/chew. you can eat it right out of the can, heat it up, keep it in the fridge and eat like cold macaroni salad. it's blandness makes it a great base and good opportunity to mix with other foods. add veggies to up the fiber. mix with tuna and/or beans for cold salad high in fiber and protein. i like to mix it with chili and make my own mac/cheese/chili. you can shake in some bacon bits, you can add some sliced hot dogs. i've even stirred in some fiber one cereal to add crunch and fiber- the only downside is that it is high in sodium. if you eat the whole can it's almost 70% of rda of salt, almost 1600mg- the same as some of the saltiest canned soups. was happy to get on sale and have delivered quickly and undamaged with walmart . also a decent shelf life. delivered to michigan in december of 2025 has a best by date of november 2026. if you haven't tried it, and if it's in your budget, it's worth buying a can to see if you like it. it's easier and quicker than making it from the box- less mess to clean up too
I like this item. I will buy it again on a regular basis. When the power goes out i can my Mac %26 Cheese without having hot water. And is a good quick meal when I forget to eat til 3am. i just wish that had in other flavors like Pepper Jack, Sharp Cheddar, Smoked Gouda, or Brie.
Well, obviously not home-made, but overall, quick and easy for a lunch or snack. Not too rich in calories, but with more sodium than I would like, so the four stars. For a quick lunch, I like to add a pouch of tuna or salmon and a half-cup of frozen peas, then microwave in a bowl for a minute or so. For a little variety, I sprinkle on some dill weed or occasionally mix in a little curry powder before heating.
As a quick meal or snack, it's convenient. If I'm in a hurry, I eat it cold, straight from the can. If I have time, I add a few spices to it, maybe some extra cheese, and microwave it. I keep this, and other similar cans in stock at home, all the time.
This was a quick lunch and very filling! Very cheesy! Good flavor! Elbow macaroni was overly soft / mushy, but understandable being in the can and cheese sauce! Good for people with chewing issues! I'd buy it again and have a salad with it for lunch!
Packaging/shipping issue. 4 of the cans were extremely dented and 1 was busted open.
I paid extra to have this 12-pack delivered directly to my door (including a tip for the driver), only for it to arrive a complete mess. Several of the cans were severely dented, and one had actually ruptured, getting old sauce all over the rest of the package. When I contacted customer service about receiving a damaged, unsalvageable food item, their brilliant solution was to tell me I had to drive it back to a physical store myself to get a refund. If I wanted to drive to the store, I wouldn't have paid for delivery and a delivery tip in the first place! To top it all off, the cans that weren't damaged tasted absolutely nasty. The sauce is bland, the noodles are mushy, and it tastes completely metallic. Save your money and your time—the product is terrible, and the delivery dispute process is a joke. Never buying this again.
4 cans are completely dented. Not just a small side dent dented at the seam on the side and at the top and bottom seams. Food in the cans are no longer safe to eat at this point. im very disappointed that a customer would be given food items in this condition. its not a lot of money but every dollar has to be stretched. They offer no help aside from an automated chat that goes no where because its not an eligible item for return. no way to get refunded. ill stick to the Patterson store from now on.
