15" POWERLOAD™ String Trimmer with Aluminum Telescopic Shaft Bare Tool (Battery and Charger Not Included)

I wanted a battery power string trimmer and I already had an EGO blower, so it was a pretty easy choice. The trimmer is pretty quiet especially compared to a gas powered one. It's lighter, the length is adjustable which is nice. I bought it with a battery so I would have 2 on hand. I really didn't need a charger since I already had one but there was no other option. It works extremely well and the build quality is great.

I bought this to replace my Stihl trimmer I absolutely love it so much lighter and a breeze to put string in. I'm 60 and my gas powered one was getting heavy and hard for me to add string with arthritis in my hand. I would love to try the power washer just not sure if it will be as powerful as the one I have. I would recommend this to anyone.

I had three name brand gas trimmers, a Craftsman, a Stihl and a Husqvana and none of them would work properly. I would spend hours trying to weed wack my yard because they either didn't start or would stall out. I wish I would have bought my Eco sooner. It is so easy to use. Put on the battery and flip the switch. I was afraid it wouldn't be as powerful as gas but it is just as powerful as the others. I wish I would have switched earlier and saved myself the hassle.

I had an older model that was having intermittent issues and the manual string wind was the biggest reason for the change. This model is automatic string wind but have not used it yet I think the 2 speed option is saving string, I only had the trimmer for a couple of weeks.

This trimmer had the correct balance of weight, length and power for me. With advancing years my previous trimmer just got a bit too heavy and too long. The adjustable length on this trimmer was a key feature that peaked my interest and proved to be just what I needed.

I was tired of lightweight trimmers not even being able to cut through St. Augustine runners. It was taking me SO long to trim my yard! I can not believe the power this thing has! Reviewers say this has the power of a gas trimmer, and I believe it!

I bought this to replace a 10 yr old corded weed-wacker. I've used it three times now and love it. It is a little heavier than my old trimmer but its great not have a cord attached and the trimmer is excellent. Also, the battery life is outstanding. I have a 1/4 acre property and can trim the entire lawn multiple times without charging. I should have purchased this years ago.....

I bought this battery operated string trimmer due to having a recent shoulder surgery. I knew I would have to struggle with starting my gasoline powered string trimmer due to my physical limitations. This ego trimmer has not disappointed me and it works as described

It took a while to get it adjusted properly and learn how to control it. The instructions do not provide any help in learning how to use it. But figured it out with some practice and experimentation. I mostly use it as an edger and there is no guide or device to hold it on the ground, so one must pay close attention to the angle and depth. I probably would have been better off with the edging tool, but I now have it down pretty well.

Bought less than a year ago and the head stopped feeding string. Checked for a solution online and in official forums and found that it is an extremely common occurrence. I contacted support and was told the unit was still under warranty but the feeder is not covered. After a garage full of Ego equipment (that I rave about and convinced neighbors to purchase) I cannot believe I was unable to get a replacement. I've used the trimmer a total of six times.
