I bought it to kill crepe myrtle sprouts. Worked fine. It did not affect the 50 year old crepe myrtle tree-and many sprouts were right at the base. Note: spray the sprouts early because the sprouts lose their leaves and leave you with dead stubs. The good news is they don't come back when finally cut off.
The spray stopped the growth of water suckers. The spray bottle should have a spray feature to cover the growth you want to remove. Instead the spray come out in a stream.
This stuff was great at killing suckers that were coming up all over from a crepe myrtle tree I had removed. It takes some time, but eventually the new shoots turn brown and die. Wonderful! I will order more to get rid of the rest of the shoots.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This may look like a boring picture with no substance but that is because this topical actually worked on preventing small buds from sprouting. My crepe myrtle was losing out on nutrients from all the buds and suckers forming along the base. I reapplied the product 3 times in August 2025 (picture is from October 2025), about 5-7 days between treatments and haven't seen any suckers pop up at all so it is truly a long-lasting product. I'm overall very impressed with this product and will consider them for my other garden needs.
It does work but slowly-be patient. The product is pretty thick and the sprayer really can be used only in a stream, which makes consistent application to tree shoots hit and miss a lot, wasting product.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wish the bottle came with a spray top, which would've made application easier. It took some time for the weeds to go away, but it did not affect the tree growth. I'm pleased with the product just wish the application was easier.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a decent product. It works so, so it definitely kept the weeds away for some time. But they still ended up growing back. But overall an average weed killer product.
It doesn't seem to work on some woody plants. I cut them off at the ground and sprayed the fresh cut areas. It just grew right out of them.
This was in a spray bottle and came loose in the package. Material is sticky and made a big mess! Also, as I sprayed the half that was left it leaked all over my hand. A gooy mess! Yuck!!
i did as instructed and applied twice and i still had suckers. contacted seller would not reimburse.
