Scotts Premium Topsoil, Lawn and Garden Soil Conditioner, With Peat Moss, 0.75 cu. ft.

It's a darker dirt with not much debris and made a nice fill in for my beds around my pear trees. It looks great actually. It was just a cheaper way to fill in areas, and it has a nice dark brown. After filling my beds with organic mix it rained, the soil settled and I needed more dirt. That's when I tried Scotts Premium Topsoil. I used it to fill up my beds again; it looks nicer than the Organic mix did and 4 times less $. I say try it!

I planted a lot of seeds and plants/month. And a lot of seeds are already sprouting and my plants are thriving. I planted them in the ground and in pots.

works great, i mixed it with fertilizer for my super hot pepper plants in missouri, and they went crazy in the raised garden this year, every one of the olants went from seedlings to 3 ft tall with tons of fruit, and im talking reapers, warthog peppers, scorpion peppers, chocolate primos, and several other varieties.

Today I received my order, Scott premium top soil for lawn and garden, shown in the picture. This is my second time using this soil , purchased from Walmart and I like it and I love the price it the best price in my area. Walmart and team and seller, thank you for selling a great product for a great price. Seller thank you for making a great product.

I am impressed with Scotts Topsoil. It's my go-to choice for a variety of outdoor projects. The soil itself is rich, dark, and easy to work. The price is very reasonable, especially considering the quality.

I bought it for the additional peat moss but could be a little cheaper with the other filler being the primary ingredient added and not topsoil as depicted. It should have more humus, not mulch, for assisting in plant growth.

⸻ For what I needed it for, it's okay. I mainly used it for filling and leveling, and it got the job done. But honestly, it feels like there's more debris than actual soil—kind of reminds me of Miracle-Gro Potting Mix with all the sticks and random pieces in it. It spreads easy, but I wouldn't use this by itself for planting. Definitely better as a filler or if you're mixing it with better soil or compost. Overall, it works… just don't expect rich, clean topsoil.

It was good but it had like a lot of wood pieces they were semi big chunks so I was able to remove enough. It smell like dirt (my fav), I hope my plants thrive with this dirt. It had great moisture. I did use it for my pots so I’ll see how it holds up. (I’m also very very new to this.)

We put down about half the bags that bought to prep for new grass. But this Topsoil looks almost exactly like the mulch we put in the flower beds. I was expecting soil not a bark/mulch mixer. Usually Scotts is a trusted brand, but this definitely not what we were expecting.

While it was decent looking soil (dark in color) it also contained a large amount of organic matter like mulch and wood chips. I used to to help reseed some bare spots in lawn and once watered and after rain what remained was the wood pieces. And now I also have a mushrooms growing in those areas.
