AN UPDATE. THE ANGIE SERVICE WAS GREAT! The young man was prompt at 9:30. Training wheels gone. Everything checked and fixed! Thank you Walmart and Angi! Excellent delivery from Walmart. And excellent service from Angi. Worth the expense. Now we'll see about the bike, once he starts riding. Can't wait 😊
The Bright Green Colors really Stood out for a Young Boys Bike. We gave the Bike Away as the Grand Prize at the Easter Egg Hunt/Party. The Boy who Won REALLY Loved it ..
great bike, its holding up well the last few months... my kiddo rides it everywhere, everyday! i left out a star because it does not come with a kick stand and the seat needs tightened occasionally...i would buy this again!
When we got it home we noticed it's been used. The training wheels were dirts and they weren't straight when it stood without someone on it. There was always dents in the frame. Before they gave it to me I don't think they even looked it over . It was the only one and our son really wanted it but workers need to look over things like this especially with how ordering online:
This is the worst experience I ever had. But it was getting extreme. Based on the product review, there are some users complained the bikes are damaged during the shipment. So I thought I would be wiser to make a order of two bikes. In my mind, I thought one could be used as an extra one for spare parts, and can be returned later in case some parts are missing or damaged from one of bikes. However, both bikes were delivered with severed damaged packaging boxes - It appeared to me both are open box items and have been returned by other customer in the past for whatever reason since either of the two shipment boxes appears to me have been reused for many times: the box was broken, both bikes front fork were bent and crooked and can't be assembled with the wheel from the shipment. Several parts including the front fork were damaged and bent upon from delivery. Question to Walmart: Why do you still ship those damaged items out to your customers ? We expect to receive a new item, not broken one. Not sure waste your customers' time but also your staffs at store and your logistic center team time as well... Totally a waste.
After nearly assembling the bike - as I was connecting the rear brake, I noticed the rear rim had a bent portion that did not allow the wheel to spin past the rear break. Appears to have been done when the manufacturer put the tire on the wheel. Very disappointing.
I ordered 5 bicycles for a family of 5 adopted children ages 4-12. I called Walmart and said I would pick up in 5 hours and that we were all meeting at the park for a birthday surprise party. Four bikes were Huffys and put together. The 5 year old childs was this one and came in a box. They said they didn't have any already assembled to substitute. You'd think 5 hours and an explanation would have given them time to assemble this one too. I had to give him my six year old childs new Huffy bike so we wouldn't have 2 kids crying. Thank God my child had his scooter with him but it would have been nice if all the kids got to ride together. I brought the boxed bike home after the party-this one-and the directions are horrible for someone who doesn't build bikes. It appears to be a lowrider bike-NOT our style, and the front forks are bent so you can't get the front tire on. I don't have the strength to put the cables on the handgrips. Just a mess. Will be returning. The photo, color and description all sounded nice but it was a disappointing experience.
Ordered bicycle with training wheels. Only came with one. Called manufacturer and they wanted me to jump through hoops to get another wheel. I would have taken it back but I already had it assembled. Need to sell with kickstand as well. Otherwise you're trying to find one when the training wheels come off. This is on the manufacturer not Walmart but, Walmart needs to straighten this out NOT ME! FYI it was a Kent bicycle.
Wal-Mart sold me a damaged bicycle on their online ordering, which i didn't know about it until i received it, and they did not want to exchange it because they did not have any more online. they had some at the store but they didn't want to exchange it.
The bike arrive and back bolt was stripped. It could not be tightened. Very disappointed. I ordered early and just too late to return.
