Works great easy to install

Bought this to replace a ceiling fan in the bedroom that had a weak candelabra light and couldn't take a bigger bulb, and I didn't need the fan anyway. Wanted something cheap that didn't hang down and make me duck (have a mobile home, ceilings are low) and that took regular LED light bulbs, and got this off the website for $8. Simple to connect the 3 wires to the existing ones in the outlet box, and it also fit in the existing bracket so I didn't need the mounting bar. Be careful when tightening the long mounting screws that hold the base to the bracket and go thru the 2 holes in the base, as the hole lips may bend in if you tighten the screws too much, causing the screw head to go thru the narrow part of the hole that does the holding. That can be bent back out, just means taking the base off again. It doesn't need to be 'tight', just snug, as the glass globe is light weight, not some thick heavy job. Stuck a 14W daylight (100W equivalent) Great Value LED bulb in it, and voila, MUCH better lighting of the 12x15' room. So if you don't need some fancy looking ceiling light, this is a great choice for a porch, basement, rec room, garage or any room you want if you don't care about impressing people with your overhead lights.

I thought it was larger also thought it was bulb cover only. Didn't expect the full installation kit

too flimsey and looks too dangerous to install.
