it works great at keeping bait on your hook. it is hard to secure, but with a bit of finding how to leave a loop and putting end through it holds.

Reliable bait thread
This thread is a staple in my tackle bag now. It's strong enough to cinch spawn sacs tight without cutting through the netting, and it holds up well even after repeated casts. The stretch gives it a little forgiveness when you're tying under pressure on the bank, and a single spool lasts a long time since you only need a small amount per sac. Cuts clean, ties easy, does exactly what it's supposed to. Solid, reliable product.
