Very nice color. Two people are definitely needed but with a little creativity I was able to do it by myself, it took a few hours to complete. Bed is very sturdy- I could tell from the materials used that the bed was a better quality than the ones I have previously purchased. Love the price point as well! Love that there were two options for the manual. 10/10 would definitely recommend and purchase again.
Bought this for my grandsons. They are 6 and 5, so very active! I put this together by myself and it wasn't bad at all! It was pretty sturdy! I debated between a metal and a wood one. I am so glad I went with this one. The wood is solid and great quality.
If you want wood bunk beds, without all of the squeaking from metal bunk beds, these are for you, Beautiful, Sturdy, reasonable price and most importantly The Grand Kids Love Them and now I'm looking for the matching dresser drawer, Thank You Walmart!
Product arrived and for the most part was in great shape. Instructions were easy to follow. We had one board with a crack in it. This seemed like no big deal as the intrsuction manual indicated you could submit easily for free replacement parts. My kids were eager to sleep in the new bed so we put it together with the damaged board. Now trying to submit for a replacement board and the dhpfurniture website is awful. My submission for a replacement part will not go through via their online form. I get an error that my IM number is incorrect. I've triple checked it and it is correct. There are no options to talk to a live agent. No contact info. When i try to request via chat to speak with a representative i am placed on hold for hours on end before eventually giving up. Overall the prodict itself is good but dont expect to get any service if you need a replacement part. I'm sure i could return the entire bed through walmart but then i will need to dissasemble everything. If you have any broken pieces, my recommendation is to stop assembly and return the whole thing to Walmart as it is impossible to get replacement parts via the manufacturer website.
Started putting bed together and multiple Pieces were missing . Customer service rep told me I could go to the store to buy the extra pieces after they refunded me a small Portion . Went to the store and the store did not sell the pieces . So i had to go to Home Depot to buy a piece of wood because all the pieces were already out the box and being put together. Disappointed . Overall nice bed
I had purchased the same bed a couple of years ago for my two children, now 5 and 7, and loved it. Unfortunately, we relocated across the country and it was easier to purchase a new one. The bed was delivered the last day of February and assembled probably the second week of March. I am currently pregnant and had to wait for it to be assembled as a bunk bed. Something had been recently telling me to disassemble the bunk bed and use them as two independent twin beds. I kept putting it off, but when the 7yo got sick and she was on the top bunk, it was difficult for me to reach her, especially since I am 7mo pregnant. A couple of days later, I had them disassembled. Today, approximately two weeks after disassembly, I was helping my 5yo clean their room and was pushing the bed back and it collapsed onto my foot. Initially, I was upset that the bed was broken and not understanding how or what happened. It was the footboard that separated from the two long side railings, which had split. However, upon calling Walmart customer service and exploring I thought about how it could have been a different outcome had they still been bunk beds because my 5yo would have been sitting on the bed when the top bunk collapsed onto the bottom because the integrity of the bottom bed would have been compromised. Typically, I don’t write reviews, but this is indeed a safety hazard. Something needs to be used to reinforce the integrity of the two beds when stacked because as of now, they sit on top of one another with a “wood” piece between them. Also, the railings should not have split so easily either. I have included pictures. For reference, my daughter is maybe 60Ibs. Before she slept on that bed, my son who is maybe 40Ibs slept on it. I switched them since the top bunk had the railing.
Natural Pine is orange wood. The phone looks NOTHING like what was delivered.
1) The delivery came in one heavy box over 100 lbs, all broken, I don’t blame the delivery people, it’s just way too heavy. They can send it 2 boxes instead of 1. 2) the color is not as online pictures. Super misleading. It’s so heavy and no way to return. I feel like cheated by Walmart. Don’t recommend it. Now I have to look at the old orange color bunk bed daily and suck it up. Super upset about it.
the bed looks nice on the box a well as it get put together but it doesn't hold up it falls apart very quick my kids had this bed only for a week and the bed sticks broke and fell right through the bed. horrible the sticks need to be measured out correctly to fit the bed.
Dont buy this bed unless you want your kids to get hurt. Havent had it for a month and a wood piece snapped fron tge top bunk while my kids were sleeping. Customer service wants me to return it for a refund. Theyre a joke.
