I picked up the Bowl Fresh Lavender Toilet Bowl Deodorizer because, well, let's be real—sometimes the bathroom needs a little help between deep cleanings. The 2.5 oz size seemed small, but I figured it was worth a shot for a fresher bowl without scrubbing every other day. The lavender scent is noticeable but not overwhelming. It's more of a clean, herbal lavender than a fake floral bomb. When you drop the disc in, it fizzes for a few seconds and then just sits at the bottom of the bowl. Every time you flush, you get a light purple swirl and a gentle lavender smell that lingers in the bathroom for a bit. My biggest worry was that it would turn the water a weird color, but the purple is faint and clears quickly. Here's what I didn't expect: it actually seems to help prevent that ring from forming. I've gone about a week and a half now, and the bowl is staying noticeably cleaner than usual. Not a miracle worker—you still need to scrub eventually—but it buys you time. The downsides? The disc floats around a little when you flush, which is fine, but sometimes it gets stuck near the rim instead of staying at the bottom. I've had to nudge it with toilet paper once or twice. Also, the lavender smell fades after about 5-6 days, though the cleaning effect seems to last longer. I'm hoping the whole disc actually holds up for the claimed weeks. So far, so good, but I'll be watching.

Hang these little power mints on the rim of your toilet bowl, and the smell will actually amaze you at how it holds up to the challenge of doing the deed. I would recommend them for a fresh, clean smell.

This item is great; I don't even use it for the toilet believe it or not. I use it for the smell and disinfectant in areas that we use as an entrance. It is placed in a small bowl, and the smell will stay for weeks. Great

First off ordered 2 and both came broken! The smell is so strong you could smell it through unopened package.! Smells so pungently strong, caused nausea and migraines. Had to throw them out because I could smell them through packages in the closet. My kids said it smells like moth balls !!!!

I purchase this product, to save a few bucks in making sure the bathroom in my home will remain clean and fresh. However, after removing the plastic cover for this item, you can actually begin to smell the strong fragrance that will eventually make you feel nauseated due to the strong fragrance that this product has. This review is not meant to discourage you from buying this item. However, the strong scent will eventually over-power you and you will get dizzy. This product should only be used in commercial facilities like Stadium, where the bathroom is super-size and with constant ventilation to suck out the strong smell. This is also great for park and recreations bathroom facilities where there's no constant moving ventilation. The odor will destroy the pathogen's that may be lingering around. This product is also not meant for use for school facilities with no constant ventilations. The strong fragrance may affect Children's, especially those with asthmatic conditions. Even with a smaller chuck placed outside the toilet tank will over-power you in a very small, enclosed bathroom, such as you home. I do not recommend the use of this product inside your bathroom home where, small children are present, the strong fragrance will have a side effect for children and pets. Also, the smell will migrate around your home if the bathroom door is not close, and with no ventilation to suck out the smell. So, instead of disposing this item, I placed it inside the toilet tank, using a clip and hang this product while submerged inside the toilet tank. Even when the toilet tank is fully closed, the smell is still lingering. The positive side while this item is inside the toilet tank, for some reason the chemical found within this item will eventually eliminate any hard water surface inside your toilet tank. When you flush your toilet, no smell is detected, but as a result the inside of your toilet bowl is also clean. Will I recommend this as a buy, absolutely no. However, if you are those individuals who is not bothered by strong nauseated fragrance, go nuts and buy. But as for me, I will not buy this again. As for the price, should be in a $0.50 to a $0.99 price range. This review is solely my field experience when using this product. The future labeling of this product, should state, not meant for use in bathroom where's there's no constant ventilation operating. Home bathroom, no.

It's such a strong unpleasant chemical scent. It was put in our downstairs bathroom which is not next to the stairs %26 the scent is so strong that halfway down the stairs you could smell it. It left an unpleasant smell downstairs. My husband thought it was similar to what is used in men's public restrooms, definitely not a scent I want my house to smell like. I rather just use odor air fresheners.

Lavender scent is definitely a No. My teen son says it smells like a men's public bathroom. Not what I was looking for. Going back to earlier choices.

These 'always' arrive broken! I can hang a piece in the toilet and put the rest in the package on a shelf. The fragrance is very nice, but they are broken and wasteful. I have ordered them several times. You can fix this I'm sure.

i cant stand these things. the smell is overpowering and smells up the whole house. i didnt choose this it was a best match for the bluing that goes in the tank of the toilet. clearly the young man didnt know what he was doing in this case.
