Caress daily silk moisturizing soap has everything I was looking for in a new soap. It does exactly what I need for my skin and has a nice fragrant smell. I will continue to use use Caress and recommend it to my daughters.

I always shop around for my products online and at different stores, and the majority of the times, I find myself purchasing my items at Walmart - just about every time. This item was no different. I looked online for other prices and this was best deal.

It seems different than the previous bars of soap they use to make.. the soap leaves a film residue on the skin making it feel tight vs. soft and hydration.

I have loved Caress bar soap ( and body wash!) since I was a teenager a very long time ago, I have always kept it around and bought in bulk. I even always wished they had a lotion and body spray with its lovely, feminine but not overpowering scent. Then- they CHANGED the formula and scent I love. They didn’t change the name or description- but the new formula does NOT smell good, and it’s also not moisturizing. It irritates my sensitive skin AND my nose. I’m so disappointed- I bought a huge pack of bar soap not realizing they had changed the scent as well as the formula and I refuse to use it. Whyyyy did you get rid of the classic and replace with this cheap stinky dry bar of wasted $.

This new formula absolutely sucks!! If I had kept the one box out of the 12 bar soaps that I used, I would've put it back in the box and returned it back with the rest of them. The new scent is underwhelming, it leaves a reaidue, it doesn't keep it's lather, and I didn't feel clean after using it. I hope Caress does away with this junk and returns to the old formula. But until then, I will be using my trusty Dove and Olay brand soaps.

Apparently they have reformulated the soap. Worst decision ever! I just reordered again because I thought was sent wrong one before. Turns out its the same crap! Why mess with something that we know and love? So dissapointed, will have to find a new soap now.

So once again a company has needlessly ruined a great product that they offered for decades. I have used this soap for more than 40 years because it smells good and leaves your skin soft and smooth. The new product claims to be the same, but it is not. It has a cheap floral sent and worst, it leaves your skin “squeaky clean” with no moisturizer, similar to a harsh hand soap like Lava. If you are looking for the old product, do not buy this awful soap. You will be returning it and searching for a replacement.

I have been using this soap for most of my life and now Caress changed the formula and its terrible! The smell is so strong and floral, unlike the old subtle pleasant scent. And it no longer feels like "daily silk" as the package claims. I dont know why they felt the need to change a wonderful product. I am very disappointed.

Today was my first time trying crubside pickup. I ordered 11 items, all were correct except one. I ordered Caress soap, I except to receive the exact item pictured but instead I received a totally differnt kind. Same brand but differnt kind. I plan to return it for the one I ordered. Hopefully, they don't give me any trouble. Overall, the process was easy and I would use it again.

The formula change is absolutely awful! The soap doesn’t smell the same or feel the same on my skin. I will unfortunately have to find a new bar soap after using Caress for more than 10 years of my life. If I could give negative stars I would! Please change the formula back ASAP!!!
