These mice traps are very easy to use. So far this season, I've caught 3 mice. What I have noticed is peanut butter works better than cheese as bait. Place the traps in a location where the mice frequent for best results. Don't forget to check them regularly. I like the fact you don't have to see the mouse after its been trapped and killed.
I’ve never dealt with mice and saw signs of one yesterday. I don’t want to see the mouse caught and this was the perfect solution bc it’s totally contained. I used peanut butter and filled the bait spot—I maybe could have used less but I wanted to make sure it would go after it! Took the bait the first night and when I opened the cabinet the red tab was now on “mouse caught”. Totally sealed and I was able to pick it up and throw it in the trash! I set another one just in case there are more, but so easy and to me it was worth the price!
these mouse traps are the second best I've ever used you don't see the mouse at all and that's the best part lol I hate mice and there was a hole in my trailer in the back by the washer I killed 18 mice in 2 weeks we fixed the h o l e and I haven't had one since so I highly recommend buying them they're a little pricey to just throw them away but they're worth it if you hate him as much as I do they're worth it thank you d e c o n
These are the best mouse traps if you don't want to see the dead mouse or deal with it. There are indicators on the trap to tell you if you caught a mouse. Easy to put peanut butter for bait in it. I use these when I get a mouse in my car. Easy, quick and safe to use.
I love these. I have a weak stomach and a guilty heart, so I’d really like to avoid seeing the mice. I put a D-con trap and a regular snap trap in the same area, and caught a mouse in the d-con first. They’re easy to twist and set. Sometimes they set off easy, so be cautious of that. Otherwise, I’d recommend this product to anyone, especially those who don’t want to seethe mouse.
This mousetrap was easy to bait but the minute I put it in place it shut and would not re-set. Since there was no way it had already caught the mouse, I tossed the product. I'm going to throw a bunch of peppermint oil soaked cotton balls under my sink and pray the mouse is driven away by that smell.
You just have to trust the little guy is in there. There is not a way to tell without forcing open the entire trap. I found that it closed up easily with the slightest jostle, but the indicator on top WAS different when it closed from a bump vs when it closed and supposedly trapped a mouse. I won't buy again bc of the difficulty setting it without setting it off, and difficulty knowing if the mouse was REALLY inside it or not when the trap sprung.
This purchase is a crap shoot. While it is nice to catch a mouse without having to see the body and just tossing it out, it has a 50/50 chance of working. I purchased 2, 2 packs (4). One had the mouse eat a hole through the top, leaving the mouse full and the trap useless. Another would not set no matter how much I tried. it wouldn't set and had to be trashed. Still another was somehow broken by the mouse and the top popped off and wasn't repairable. None of the 3 could lock as the bait was stolen from the top, the spring wouldn't set, or a mouse destroyed it. I paid for 4 units, and 3 were useless. Not great odds. It makes it over $10 plus tax to finally catch a mouse in the 4th try. Ugh! Having said that, I hate the glue pads because they are cruel. I hate the see through boxes because I didn't want to see the mouse inside. I hate the spring setting old fashion traps for the same reason... I don't want to see the mouse. So, I will buy again if needed - even though at over $10 plus tax per mouse is insane. I guess Im insane. I only recommend these no see traps to those poor souls like me who can't find an alternative that keeps the mouse hidden. But if you want to pay a lot less and can take seeing a dead mouse in a spring trap, you should choose another option.
Poor quality. One of them came broken unable to be set in the right position. The others seemed to work but are proving hyper sensitive and snapping without catching anything due to footsteps passing by and other such mild “disturbances” near them. Very cheap. I do not recommend.
bought these as I have loss of dexterity in my dominant hand from a neck injury. They are difficult to set, just as the old mouse traps that snap and scare the life out of one when attempting to set. One will not work at all on day 2 of trying to catch the nasty little critter who has invaded my kitchen...a big thumbs down!!!!
