I love these. I have a weak stomach and a guilty heart, so I’d really like to avoid seeing the mice. I put a D-con trap and a regular snap trap in the same area, and caught a mouse in the d-con first. They’re easy to twist and set. Sometimes they set off easy, so be cautious of that. Otherwise, I’d recommend this product to anyone, especially those who don’t want to seethe mouse.
These mice traps are very easy to use. So far this season, I've caught 3 mice. What I have noticed is peanut butter works better than cheese as bait. Place the traps in a location where the mice frequent for best results. Don't forget to check them regularly. I like the fact you don't have to see the mouse after its been trapped and killed.
these mouse traps are the second best I've ever used you don't see the mouse at all and that's the best part lol I hate mice and there was a hole in my trailer in the back by the washer I killed 18 mice in 2 weeks we fixed the h o l e and I haven't had one since so I highly recommend buying them they're a little pricey to just throw them away but they're worth it if you hate him as much as I do they're worth it thank you d e c o n
I’ve tried a few different traps, I really can’t deal with the dead mouse so I’ve tried humane ones or others where you can’t see it. This one worked impressively quick, maybe it was good luck?? I put it out at 10pm (added more peanut butter than was probably necessary) and had them caught by the next morning. Tossed in the trash and now I’m buying more just in case! Good product!
Ease of use and the convenience of set up make this item great, and the fact that it closes trapping the rodent so you do not have to actually handle them for disposal make this a great option for anyone having pest issues. The only negative thing I can say about this item and truly it is not negative is that you have to be very careful setting it up and when placing it, because it is very sensitive and may trigger causing it to close and then you need to reset it. Instructions are easy to read and follow. Highly recommend.
You just have to trust the little guy is in there. There is not a way to tell without forcing open the entire trap. I found that it closed up easily with the slightest jostle, but the indicator on top WAS different when it closed from a bump vs when it closed and supposedly trapped a mouse. I won't buy again bc of the difficulty setting it without setting it off, and difficulty knowing if the mouse was REALLY inside it or not when the trap sprung.
These no-touch mouse traps haven't worked for me so far. I've had four set up in a room that sometimes seems to have mice, but I haven't caught anything yet. I'm not sure if I'm baiting them correctly, or if the mice are too big to fit into the trap. I'm still hoping they'll start working with a little adjustment.
It took a full month for it to catch a mouse. Granted, I was very meticulous about keeping all food supplies locked in thick plastic containers, food trash thrown in the dumpster right away, and crumbs and spills cleaned up immediately. In addition to the mouse traps, I also have several Tomcat rat and mouse poison stations and ultrasonic pest repellents. I got tired of checking on the mouse traps everyday and just started doing it on the weekends. So it wasn't until today that I noticed one of the traps caught something. For one thing I definitely caught a whiff of something dead in the trap. I gave this trap a lower rating because of the difficulty of setting it up. Like what most reviewers indicated, the locking mechanism is just too loose. I would still recommend it and buy new ones for replacement.
well for me these didn't work at all. you put peanut butter in a tiny hole on the bottom and cover the hole back up. mouse is supposed to go in the front and get caught. yeah no. my mouse flipped it and ate the pb from the bottom. so disappointed to spend money on this useless product
Poor quality. One of them came broken unable to be set in the right position. The others seemed to work but are proving hyper sensitive and snapping without catching anything due to footsteps passing by and other such mild “disturbances” near them. Very cheap. I do not recommend.
