This product works as expected; it's just as good as name brand or other store brand alternatives. The price is great compared to the name brand options. Additionally, the packaging is great because there is no difficult seal to remove- the green cap comes right off. The paper box they come in does disintegrate easily, though.
This product works as well, if not better than the name brand products Also, the price could not be beat. The same product at Walgreens or CVS is almost twice the price. Thank you for the great product and thank you for the great price and thank you for the ease of shopping.!
The tips on the bottle should be rounded instead of just flat across. It would be much more comfortable to insert if you didn't have that flat top which results in a rather sharp edge all the way around the hole in the tip. Even with lubrication, you still have issues from time to time where it hurts when you're pushing it in. Again, if the tip was just rounded, I'm pretty sure there wouldn't be any issue inserting it thank you, Sincerely, Kevin Ecker
Equate brand enemas are a better than traditional, more expensive brands I find the tip applicator is smoother and easier to open. The price is always cheaper than the more traditional brands.
I usually warm it in the microwave in a special microwave cup, cuz otherwise it causes me a whole lot of belly pain used cold, it's less when it's nuked a bit.
The item is pretty much ready to use. There is a flow restriction in place. I find it easier to use if the rubber restriction is removed. this will allow the saline to easily be injected.
The 3-star rating doesn't apply to the actual product itself - it does a very good job - but there are reserved delivery times (ours was from 2-4 pm) that will get an assigned delivery ETA of before 10 pm for an unknown reason, or the AI is wonky and won't let you get to a live agent… whoa. Enough already. The 3 stars are for poorly-managed deliveries. Long and short of it.
I gave this enema three stars, not because it didn't work as expected, it did, believe me, it did! The three stars are for the love/hate relationship I have with the enema because it DID work as expected. Recently I was in excruciating pain which could have been diverticulitis but I was also constipated so I decided an enema couldn't hurt any worse than I already did. I was both right and wrong. But you know this. It's an enema. They aren't a mystery. I bought it. I used it. It worked. Now I was in just as much, if not more pain, but when it kicked in I did NOT make it to the bathroom in time. So now there's lava coming out of my butt and diarrhea smeared all over my underwear and my legs and the toilet seat. It's gross. It's awful. But after everything was all cleaned up and all cleaned out I felt much better. It was just a rough ride.
I bought 5 boxes of these six bottle product and I regret it. The actual box the enemas are packaged in is flimsy and with the weight of the solution in each bottle, the box tears easily and the bottles drop all over the floor. The bottles also leak. There is a little paper "plug" under the bottle cap and it has cuts in it to allow solution to pass by, but it also acts as a plug when you try to use the enema. The cap on the bottle cap also allows for severe leakage, so a wet box is usually what you can expect. The actual enema bottles are smaller than Fleet's product and they are more difficult to use. The plastic tip that gets inserted is weak and too easy to bend and that makes these things difficult to use. Like Fleet does, there a dab of lubricant at the tip, but the way it's applied at the factory makes it messy for the consumer. Bottom line: Do not buy this product! It's already a difficult thing if you have to use an enema from time to time, but this product's entire design is horrible. Buy Fleets!
These are the same price as the name brand except these are NOT wrapped to be tamper proof. They are not a good deal at all and are harder to squeeze than the name brand as well.
