These chewable aspirins are important to me. I keep a bottle close by if I should ever need to take one. I have read recommendations we need a chewable close in bed just in case we feel a possible heart attack . I also have a bottle in my purse. The price allows me to budget them in and I am so grateful !
If you're taking this for blood thinning purposes- let me tell you what, they work very well. I'm on one a day after pulmonary embolisms back in 1999. This past week I was preparing dinner- slicing zucchini on a mandolin %26 not using the safety guard. I lost a pretty good chunk of my finger and due to the aspirin, it took about 12 hours to stop. So, I'd say that's a ringing endorsement for their anticoagulant properties!
The order I placed had two other items, all said to be available for pick up that same day. I received an email shortly after placing the order that two items were out of stock. However, when I went to the store looking for items as a replacement I found those very same items. Also, there were many of those items available! I had made the purchase with a reward, so I went customer service. They were able to correct the problem, and I was able to get those items after all!! As far as evaluating the aspirin, my rating has more to do with the pricing. Walmart has the lowest prices! Aspirin is pretty much all the same otherwise!
Equate low dose aspirin is excellent for thinning blood. I buy because of the price and because it's equate so I know the quality is good. And have you seen the prices on the other low dose aspirin. I don't buy it for the pain relief so I can't say anything about that.
A must to have on hand. These are not coated but chewable small dose aspirin. These are a cherry flavor. Pros: Easy to chew or swallow. Price is excellent. 3 pack. Great for keeping in different places or easy to combine all 3 into 1 bottle. Small compact bottles. No bitter after taste. Available in orange flavor. Effective, for me, when I get shoulder, arm or leg pain/aches. Cons: While lid is not childproof, I do have a hard time prying it open but, I do lack strength in my hands and fingers. Note: I have high blood pressure and these do not raise it. TOXIC for cats. Not for kids under 12 years.
I take these to help thin my blood due to high blood pressure and diabetes. They work really well at a low dose strength and are recommended by my cardiologist. I very highly recommend these low dose apron.
I had a stroke and now have to take a baby aspirin once a day and this is the brand I buy. They taste good and hopefully are doing the job I purchase them for. No need for name brand this brand is just as good as any other.
This is a non-enteric-coated low-dose aspirin generally used per physician suggestion. Both the cherry and orange flavor are pleasant, but the reason I gave taste only 4 stars is that, after chewing the tablet, there is always a small, pin-head sized clump of something that feels like super soggy paper! This isn't a one-off; it's in every one of them. I'd really like to know what it is and why it's there. Otherwise the product has been a cheaper alternative to name-brands; I have been taking it >5 years now.
Equate low dose chewable aspirin is usually faster than regular coated low dose aspirin- but this is the first time that I have tried the cherry flavored version. I think I will stick with the orange version from now on, though. I feel like the taste is overwhelming and I do not feel like it had the desired effect that I would expect from aspirin (relieve headache by slightly thinning the blood, preventing blood clots).
It's impossible to pry the caps off these bottles. Not with pliers, not with a screwdriver. I'm going to try smashing the open with a hammer. i Don't waste your money on these.
