I love how this paint changes color with the direction/lightening, it gives my project a magical feel! It has a quaint shimmer effect to it. It is beautiful and perfect for the holiday project that I am working on. It is thick enough that just 1 coat will cover completely! It dries quickly too, which is always helpful! I am very happy with the paint, and the color that I chose.
This is the most durable and easy application of most acrylic paints I use. I primarily paint on glass surfaces . The enamels and the Multisurface work beautifully together or alone when used on glass.
Awesome is so great. You really have to see it to see the beauty. I dabbed some on quickly to share. I can paint. Wanted you to see out of the bottle.
The FolkArt Color Shift acrylic craft paint has an excellent metallic finish with really eye-catching color changes depending on the lighting angle. The viscosity is smooth and easy to work with, especially after thinning slightly with distilled water for airbrushing fishing lures. It sprays evenly through the airbrush and lays down a nice consistent coat without clogging issues. The color palette offers some great options for creating unique lure patterns and scales effects. It's also simple enough for young kids to use for regular craft projects with a brush. Overall, a versatile paint that works great for both crafts and custom lure painting. BlackCRX@YT
I've used these several times in acrylic Poured Art. It mixes well with pouring mediums, has a great consistency and the sheen and color shift adds a lot to the pieces. I've had many compliments on them. The pictures don't do it justice, can't see the shift or details. I'll definitely be using all colors in future pieces.
Green to gold. Shift is nice but not bold. Love the citron green color, so the shift is a bonus.
The paint is actually perfect, but I believe it had been returned before because the paint was only about not quite half full and real thick. I had to turn it all the way straight up to get any to come out of it, but I believe if it had been a nice full bottle and wouldn't have been so thick, it would've been great. It still turned out OK for what I needed, but it was just not the right amount in there And it was thick.
I'm using this product to add a shimmering, glittery effect over the top of paint schemes for fishing lures... It adds an amazing touch and looks great, too. Have to thin it way diwn (90% alcohol ).to allow flowage through my airbrush, which gets used at higher air pressures because of viscosity issues... Overall, it's a to add wonderful effects, but needs considerable thinning when applying it using an airbrush.
My kids love this paint. I'll stick with the cheaper paints but get this occasionally.
I was excited to try this but the bottle is leaking.
