Veggies are my go to whenever I'm not really sick but feeling slightly sluggish-this year my allergies have really kicked in big time, nothing better than a huge glass of vegetable juice to put me back up to par!! Would definitely recommend to anyone with similar problems!
I've always loved V8 juice, but have, lately, had to cut back on expenses wherever possible. I've been taking a green powder blend of veggies and fruits that, when mixed into this Great Value version of V8, is delicious (and makes me feel great)! Many years ago, I could tell a difference between the GV version of this vegetable juice and V8, but not anymore. It's not tremendously less expensive than the big brand, but every little bit helps, in the long run.
A little thinner than the V8 product and tastes better when thoroughly shook up. A good low calory, healthy snack that also makes a really good hot soup on a cold day! You can add creamer, to make a hot cream of tomatoe (vegetable) soup that has no soybean oil or other unpronounceable stuff like most canned soups do! Nice chemical free product! Hard to find these days!
I wanted some V8, but I didn't feel like taking out a personal loan... Sort of kidding. V8 had priced themselves pretty high, this is exactly the same taste-wise, so why spend extra. It has the flavor I desired, and I can buy a little something extra now. If saving money hadn't become so important, I might not have tried it, but I'm glad I did, I absolutely like it just as much.
the taste and texture of great value vegetable juice is as good as the name brand. it is just as healthy and tasty as any brand. our favorite juice. we topit with ground black pepper. I like mine heated.
Comes exactly as pictured. Simple and straight forward ingredients which I love. Tastes like tomato juice, no sweetness. So I mix it with some fruit juice. That way the kiddos will drink it too! But for the price and ingredients, worth it and I will keep buying it.
i use this btl veg juice 1strong cp (or sitting since am-coffee) in my chili instead of water. adds a rich, rounded %26 peppery Gravy/Soup in A Chunky Veg, Bf %26 Bean Med Spicy Chili. i like serving it ontop a scoop of white rice and garnish w jalapeno slices, sr crm %26/or sprinkled w colby cheese.
There is some funny business going on at my Walmart with this juice. I ordered 3 bottles as I mix it with reheated pasta. But the juice had separated and lots of sediment was on the bottom. I know this happens, but it looked off. When checking the expiration date, I found all 3 had been tampered with. It was the end of June, but the date said it expired in April. Now here is where the tampering happened... All 3 bottles had the year of expiration rubbed off. I'm pretty sure that is illegal to do. On one, I can see maybe it rubbed off. But on all 3, you can see it seemed quite deliberate.
I thought I ordered 3 LOW SODIUM Great Value vegetable Juice but got 1 bottle of Great Value Vegetable Juice and 2 bottles of Tomato Juice instead. Not worth the trouble to do a return.
Not very impressed that Walmart wouldn't give me a replacement or a refund and expected me to take this leaky Tomato juice to Fed Ex and mail it back. I doubt that I will order this product again, because of this bad service and Walmart's attitude.
