I prefer to drink tomato juice over V8 it is a very tasty and filling Drink, sometimes just that little something you need without going to snack on other things.
I used to purchase the large cans of Tomato Juice but found that it went bad too quickly for one person to drink it fast enough. Now that I purchase it in the 6 pack I just wish that they made the larger size in a six pack also but since they charge enough for them it would be cost prohibitive to do so.
I have been buying Campbell's tomato juice for 50 years. I am a pickle/salt person, and I love tomatoes! My vegetarian lifestyle includes lots of mixed green salads with tomatoes and everything else after that. So, I keep tomato juice on hand mostly for Bloody Mary's or whenever I want to sip some tomato juice with a wedge of lemon. That's a lot of acid, but I always eat at least a snack so it doesn't sit on an empty stomach. One of the grading suggestions for stars was "sweetness." I have never thought of the term 'sugar' in association with tomato juice in my entire life. Does Campbell's tomato juice have sugar in it? I don't know. I will never buy anything but Campbell's tomato juice! The price, never mind. I want therefore I buy.
I first tasted Campbell's tomato juice in the 80s when it came in a 32 or 48 ounce can and you the bottom end of a bottle opener.. you know the end that's pointed and cuts into the can.. well anyway that you had to pour into a glass to drink and you could see they used real tomatoes by how thick it was.. today you drink it out of these 10oz cans and when you shake it up it feels like water in there.. guess next time I'll use a glass just to see if I'm getting tomatoes or flavored water..
This product is greatly improved over previous products for the same purpose. You no longer have to worry about the coffee grounds in the coffee ( always a turnoff). The product is well made and much better thought out than previous products. The coffee tastes good but the final taste is still Not as good as the K cup. I recommend it for occasional use but not day to day.
Campbell's has been a staple brand in my life since I was little. I can't seem to find the larger "drink can" size anymore. Only these 5.5 oz cans. Campbell's Tomato Soup is my all-time favorite soup. The juice is no exception. I miss my nana's homemade tomato juice, so this the next best thing. It has a rich and smooth tomato flavor. I appreciate it mostly for direct consumption and to make Red Eyes (aka beer and tomato juice). It is a good source of potassium and vitamin C, but for many monitoring their salt intake, the sodium content will be a concern. Overall, Campbell's 100% Tomato Juice is tasty, nutritional, great for cooking and drinking.
I bought the small cans of tomato juice because the big cans were sold out. Campbell's is the best tomato juice that I use for chili.
Hunts tomatoe jucice is low in sugar has vitamin C and is yummy in soups and sauces. The main ingredient in a summer drink with celery sticks to satisfy thirst.
Had order 64 oz units. They were replaced with 4 6 packs of small cans. I mix with worcestershire sauce in 1 liter bottles. The extra cans added up to 5 per liter with the worcestershire. So I had an extra can to place in the fridge. The packs took up extra storage space in my small 600 sq. foot apartment. The empty cans were added to waste in the garbage. The retirement center does not recycle so the cans were just trash to them.
Today is 6/25/2026 and the cans have leaked and corroded. Good until date is July 21, 2027.
