I have not used them in the freezer yet so that's why I gave 4 stars-I don't know how they will perform in the freezer. So far they work well though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to try out these commercially compostable bags and they did not disappoint. I found them to be very unique. The gallon bag size standard-sized. The material is very different than a regular baggie in that it's not entirely see-through and it's slightly rubbery. It's very soft and very pliable. It also has a little bit of stretch to it. I would definitely say that the material is durable - perhaps more so than traditional clear plastic. The front of the baggie clearly states that it's compostable and even tells the size. You can write on the label (or anywhere on it) with a marker. The tops seals shut easily by pressing both sides together.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These turned out far bettered than I imagined or expected. I had never used compostable bags before but these did just as good as my regular bags. I like knowing they are not sitting forever in a landfill taking up valuable space.

The bag itself is soft and translucent in color, and feels sturdy. It has a press-to-close design to seal the bag, and the seal is tight and has a lot of integrity. The bag holds one gallon and comes in a pack of 20 bags. This is the perfect size to marinate meats and mix salads for lunch on the go. Would recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found these bags pretty interesting. They are more foggy in color, not that that matters. They worked fine but for the price I'm just going to stick with the normal ones. I'm not unhappy with the purchase I just won't make it again.

The plant based feature, doesn’t really mean anything to me. The box, is a hot mess though. It does not hold its shape and I’m sure I’ll be cursing it every time I go to grab a bag.
