Matter Compostable 3-Gallon Drawstring Food Scrap Bags, 20 Count

I recently started buying these to line the small trash can I use to collect from my kitty's litter box. I like that they are made of recycled materials and was, at first, worried they wouldn't be strong enough for my use. That has not been the case - they come out of their box easily and they hold up when I have filled them as much as I want from the litter box. I HIGHLY recommend these bags.

ordered these by mistake but used them for food scraps and felt better about putting them in the landfill

These are stretchy. They are very hard to tear. They are slightly bigger than a small trash can, like a bathroom trash can.

These compostable bags are great for food scrapes. The size can fit a whole watermelon. The material is sturdy so you won't have a mess on your hands. It also comes with cinching handles to tie the trash up. They work perfect for food trash. I use it in my kitchen with my small compost trash can.

I was truly expecting these bags to be flimsy, however they are actually really awesome. The drawstring at the top makes them easily fit around different sized trash cans. I have also been using them as trash bags in our RV while camping. They hold up to all of our food scraps etc. and we haven't had one tear yet. The fact that they are compostable makes me feel good about using them vs. standard plastic garbage bags. Better for the environment!

Your simple basic small trash bag liner, we use them in all of trash cans throughout the house, it does have handles which is good when we over fill them so we can tie a knot, they aren't too thin and not overly thick, the best thing is that it's made with recycled material so that's definitely good for our environment.

I don't really have anything to say about them- they were the size I ordered and arrived when they said they would be.

My city mandates composting and so we look for ways to have a system to keep compost in one area and clean. This is a great solution and there's a few things I really like about these bags. First and foremost, the bags are sturdy. No one enjoys having to clean up spills due to a ripped bag. This type of bag is definitely less likely to rip compared to others I've used. They also have built in tightening mechanism so that the food compost doesn't fall out when you're lifting the bag. The handle system is also fairly strong. Looks - I think this bag color is less of an eyesore compared to others. Also, an additional bonus is that the city gave us small pails to contain our green waste and this bag fits well over the pail. It's not a perfect fit, but it's surprisingly snug enough not to fall in, but not so snug that you're fighting it to remove the bag. Overall a great bag for composting your food scraps and other compost material.

These are the worst bags to buy. All 20 bags tear and rip very easily just by pulling them out of the box. I wish, I can get a full refund. Buyer Beware!
