I have not used them in the freezer yet so that's why I gave 4 stars-I don't know how they will perform in the freezer. So far they work well though.

The bag itself is soft and translucent in color, and feels sturdy. It has a press-to-close design to seal the bag, and the seal is tight and has a lot of integrity. The bag holds one gallon and comes in a pack of 20 bags. This is the perfect size to marinate meats and mix salads for lunch on the go. Would recommend!

I like that they can be repurposed after use and help cut back on plastic bag waste. Also, I appreciate that the packaging is partly made from recycled content. These bags are more opaque in appearance than the more common plastic zip-top bags, and they have a soft texture. A couple of things that stand out to me to be mindful of is that these bags have a best used shelf-life (within six months) and aren’t ideal for storing liquid. Overall, these compostable storage bags are an environmentally-friendly option for composting at home or with a local composting program.

The fact that the bags are plant based that can be dispose in compost bin is really awesome! Overall the bags provide plenty of space for storing my food and they have a tight seal when closed.

You can also stand and store the bag to fill, if need be, which makes it handy. The bag also is made where it has a space you can label what you put in it. It also is easy to write on in that space.

I use them for so many things around the house and find them very durable. I even use the for travel because they keep things organized and clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bags are not clear so you cannot see what's inside, so if you are great at organizing you will have to label everything. Otherwise it is a very sturdy product. I will test how long it can truely maintain in the freezer but i do like it so far.
