The taste is awesome we put it on everything from salad to fried chicken we've used it to silence to season some dishes We added it to a rice dish that had black beans and etc It was great It's new If you like pepper it's perfect as a family we love it so this month I bought two bottles to make sure we didn't run out for the month May God bless you
I'm a creature of habit and I guess I'm so focused on my “usuals” when I'm in-store shopping that I may tend to overlook items from time to time because I don't recall ever seeing this flavor before….but I tried delivery shopping online and found it so I decided to try it and I LOVED IT!!! So far I've only used it as a condiment on my sandwiches but I'm looking forward to trying it out on other staples as well…
This dressing with pepper is marvelous, I have fallen in love with and use it on many items. Very flavorful . Gives all meats an added favor boost. This is a must try product. You will not be disappointed.
Looks nice and does adhere to veggies or slaw mix but that was about the only thing I liked. I love Cracked Pepper and Ranch so thought this would be delicious - looks yummy. Sadly no kick - almost a chemical aftertaste. Plus the lid constantly clogs! I have other dressings that are chunky and dispense easily. I tried three times - different methods and vegetables - Just can't like this blend.
The container size is great value for the money. I had no issue with shipping or the quantity. My issue come with quality. I find it too salty. When using on a salad, use very lightly or skip the olives because the taste of salt is very high and I am not a salt-sensitive person.
Unfortunately one of the few items i would not repurchase. I am partial to peppercorn dressing and tried this instead. Not as flavor full as expected. Tried on a sandwich, baked potato and salad but not really a good punch to it.
I thought it would just taste like ranch with black pepper added but it has a potent vinegar taste doesn't… it's not nasty though just not exactly what I expected
As some others mentioned- acidity from the vinegar is overpowering. And pick up too much soybean oil taste. Pepper definitely shines- which I'd expect- since it's named Cracked Pepper ranch.
I thought this would be perhaps something obvious, like say a Hidden Valley Ranch dressing with peppercorn/extra black pepper in it. Kinda like the usual peppercorn ranch dressings some other brands will sell and those can be hard to find. This Hidden Valley one has more of a vinaigrette taste and texture more than anything that is actual ranch dressing. It is good if you want that sort of thing, but I just wanted something that resembled actual ranch dressing with peppercorns/extra pepper flavor in it. Example of a decent one: Ken's Peppercorn Ranch Dressing
I was looking for something like Kraft peppercorn ranch I missed it. I saw this and thought hey this is a good brand. Why not try it? Back in the day, one of the pranks kids used to play at sitdown restaurants was loosening the top of the pepper so the next family that sit down would go to use the pepper and dump the entire container of pepper on their food. Yeah, that's about what tastes like. I'm not a fan of blue cheese dressing. I simply keep it for hot wings and the like. After putting this on a salad, I really had to dump it and use the blue cheese dressing chunky blue cheese at that.. I had a friend tried, and they thought maybe it was a production issue, but if you want to eat pepper by the teaspoonful with no really other discerning, taste have at it. This is not for me.
