I recently tried the Icy Hot with Lidocaine No Mess roll-on, and it has quickly become a go-to for my localized aches and pains. The combination of the classic icy-hot sensation with the numbing power of lidocaine works incredibly fast to target deep muscle and joint discomfort. What I love most about this specific product is the roll-on applicator; it glides on smoothly and allows me to apply the gel exactly where I need it without getting a drop of medicine on my hands, keeping everything completely clean. The formula dries down nicely without leaving any sticky or greasy reside, and the initial strong scent dissipates at a reasonable pace. It provides long-lasting, reliable relief that helps me get through busy days comfortably, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a powerful, hassle-free topical pain reliever.
This stuff is so good! No mess is the best part because my husband hates the scent and I can't reach my back so it's easy for him to just roll it on my back and it leaves a cooling effect which in turn helps with the pain. It doesn't leave a sticky residue once it dries overall this stuff is so good if you have pain literately anywhere on your body. 10/10
Icy hot no mess roll on original pain relief this one's a 2.5 ounce applicator easy to put on by yourself. No need for help. I was able to do it on my neck and everything. It's a cooling sensation and it heats up later. There's a dries clear I like that about that I don't like the mess usually they have it. It's 16% menthol and it's the icy hot therapy. Works in a pinch and it works. If you don't need too much pain relief I will carry this wherever I go.
Convenient roll on, not messy leaves no sticky residue but is great for joint and muscle pain. Leaves a cool numbing feeling that is soothing and pain relieving.
Very easy to apply since you don't need to use your fingers. Easy and small so you can carry in your purse but you get your money's worth. Only complaint is it can make your skin sensitive. After applying to my lower back taking a shower even 8 hours later stung a little. But it does last a long time which is a plus for me.
Since it is really expensive with long wait times to go to the hospital if it was an non-emergency treatment, icy hot brand was a well-known friend to our family since muscle pains could be solved with this product. After using them for a long time, this product does work wonders for muscle pain, but if that pain originates from a fractured bone, this product is not it. So if you try this product and it doesn't work and the pain gets worse, please go to the doctor to get it checked out. So what makes this so effective? I think that has to do with some powerful ingredients that are in this product that gets absorbed by your body and into your bloodstream, so take it with a grain of salt since those ingredients might cause permanent damage in the long-term.
This is my go to for muscle pain. I mostly use it on my neck or lower back for quick relief. The roll on ball cuts out the mess and so far it has always helped me. There is no residue that I can tell but I wouldn't recommend having your neck kissed after application.
For starters it is easy to use (just open and roll!) and as marketed it doesn't leave a mess. Personally I don't get that much relief from it but it does last for several hours. For minor muscle aches it helps but I don't wouldn't describe as a replacement for other pain relief. It's a nice to have not a necessity in my view
I bought this a while back and have always used the patches all my life. For some reason I used this roll on on my wrist since I was having some pain. Not even 30 minutes later my skin starts to feel like it is LITERALLY ON FIRE!! I wait it out a bit thinking that it'll subside and go away…. But NO! It gets worse. I've tried everything, even milk…. Dish soap didn't work I feel I made it worse by rubbing it in with the soap. I tried olive oil, body wash dish soap Vaseline and nothing. My wrist is sooo irritated pics don't do it justice. This is the worse product I've ever tried in my whole life… I can't even sleep because it's just on fire. My skin is red feels raw and is blistering a bit like hives…. Do Not ever buy or use this it's horrible! It doesn't help it makes matters worse! Hopefully I don't end up in the ER, this pain is unbearable.
After ten minutes this started burning my skin so bad! I tried washing it off multiple times but that didn't stop the burning. it just got worse. The pain was so intense - like a sun burn. Eventually I covered my back in Vaseline and just kept loading it on and it slowly started to calm down. Do NOT buy this product. I googled how to treat icy hot burns and stumbled upon these reviews and am completely shocked this happened to so many other people
