This individual made two trips thru snow that another delivery person considered it a safety issue for her. high heels . This individual delivered 7 of the ordered 8 cans of bean sprouts on the first day and delivered the 8th can the following day. Excellent service!!!
This is a brand I rely on for bean sprouts. Unlike most other produce, you really want your bean sprouts canned. It's definitely safer, and I find the taste better simply because it's consistent.
It is difficult to find bean sprouts in the regular grocery store sny more. I had to order these and have them shipped to me. Thank you for making them available.
I am using these bean sprouts following a recipe for homemade Egg Foo Yung. Mainly they create the body and texture of the dish. Since sprouts are pretty bland, it's important to use the right seasonings. They're good for the dish I have been making.
These are great to keep on your shelf. Fresh is always best, but not always available. Sometimes just not convenient to run to the store. I used them for making chow mein, and it actually tasted very good for not being fresh. I do recommend these. A great item to have on hand.
i got recommended these from Walmart when they didn't have the polar brand i usually get in stock. ill never allow these as a substitute again. even for canned veg these were beyond disappointing. the sprouts have a weird color to them almost a brown hue. and they appear to be incredibly young. some are more seed pod than sprout. i have no idea how but the texture and taste of these sprouts after a quick stir fry is incredibly similar to eating barley porridge. they have a very bitter earthy taste i do not associate with bean sprouts and a mushy mouth feel. the only reason this isn't a 1 star rating is because i will admit im not a expert when it comes to these things so maybe thats what people like for bean sprouts. but i usually expect something light fresh tasting and to have just a bit if a crunch to them. if you also want that these are a flat zero on the quality meter.
Purchased this as a pantry go to instead of purchasing fresh. I am familiar with the label, therefore I opted to have it as an emergency replacement for fresh. Disappointing in texture and flavor mostly. I know better than to expect canned in a liquid to be the same as fresh, but I was hopeful it would be somewhat pleasing for the convenience of a pantry go to. For me personally, it was not. I will not purchased this again because of my experience and when fresh sprouts are called for, I will purchase fresh! A lot of effort for me to cook in the first place so I want the finished product to be at least tasty. My fault for not buying fresh for my cooking endeavor!
Only received 1 instead of 2. I need a refund
The bean sprouts were mushy. The only reason I bought that was because I was a kid, my mom bought them and they were so good. The belt was so soggy mushy and it didn't taste like when I was a child. Will not buy them anymore. I tried to eat half of them. I threw the rest away.
I ordered La Choy bean sprouts n the can arrived in a box seperately n completely dented in!!
