I had to replace the last bamboo cutting board that I had purchased at Walmart 16 years ago and I wanted to stay with the same kind and I got two at a very good price and they were larger and had a groove for liquid to drain. Can't ask for anything more 😊

Overall a good product. I gave it 4 Stars because there is a reset grove/canal around the perimeter of the board to collect any liquids. However if you're mincing or chopping something small, some of it falls into the grove.

Prior reviews of these boards are accurate. It is reported that the boards crack. Both boards upon arrival had manufacturing defects. This is a glued and formed board. Every few inches, there is a seam that has no glue. It looks like a crack. It is deformed enough to feel with a fingernail running across the top of the board. The more you wash the board, the more water will impregnate the open seam, and eventually the board will split. I will use mine as decorative trays. Do not use for food. This is very disappointing.

I don't care for these cutting boards. I didn't know I was going to have to oil them for 30 days plus I have carpel and cubital tunnel bilaterally so it's too much for me to deal with. I'm going to have to return them and I'm sorry about that because I discarded the box so I feel really bad about it returning them.
