I love these tamed jalapeños. I've never ordered them before, but they have not been available in my store. I decided to order a two pack that was on sale. The the shipping packaging was horrible. There was no padding at all and one of the jars had broken and was sitting on my front porch leaking the contents. I had to get a bag to put the saturated box in and then rinse off my front porch because it stank like pepper juice. Very disappointed.
Tamed jalapeños, the best way to add a little spice to enhance the flavor without burning your mouth. I use these in so many things, pasta salads, tossed salad, homemade nachos, homemade tacos, homemade burritos, Asian noodles. I'm so glad I discovered these because I hated dealing with fresh jalapeños that you have to wash and slice and devein %26 remove seeds, too much work and you have to wear gloves when you do it. This saves the hassle and the time. I hope the price doesn't go up to what I just saw , because then I don't know if I can afford them. Anyway, add a little spice to your life.
when the jar said tamed, they were right. I was pleasantly surprised that they were not extremely hot. They still had a nice amount of heat, but very comfortable. I have found myself eating them with just plain crackers. I started out buying the smaller jar. I have moved up to the larger jar. They are very good alone, or with hummus and crackers.
These are the best peppers. Not too hot. I put them in everything. Great flavor with alittle crunch. This is second jar I have bought. Will buy again. I recommend these if you like just alittle heat.
i love this product so much i get the small jars in the store. i saw these big jars for half the price of a small jar in the store and was so excited to get them but..... they came broken I eat these right out of the jar....
The flavor of the peppers is outstanding without a lot of heat. We eat them just about every day. The blend of spices is perfect. When the peppers are gone we put boiled eggs (makes wonderful pickled eggs) or other vegetables to keep in the refrigerator. Never a drop wasted!!!!!
I eat jalepenos on everything and go through the smaller jars very quickly, so this Larger jar of crisp jalepenos is great! These taste more pickled than hot--they are slightly spicy, not too hot, and very crispy where other brands are somewhat mushy. Very good on sandwiches, burgers, and salads! Jars arrived unbroken with an extra seal sticker to keep the lid from moving during shipment. Very satisfied!
not a great jalapeno, and i grow them, love them fresh and on my nachos... just didnt like the flavor, so whatever pickling process they use, it was not to my liking
One of the jars of jalapeños was opened
Five jars of Mezzetta Deli Sliced Jalapeno peppers were sealed with tape, wrapped in expanded paper and packed in a plastic bag together with three jars of Vlasic Sandwich Stackers Pickles. Some of the jars were upside down in the box, some on their sides, and some were upside down. Six jars of jalapeno peppers were ordered and paid for. The lid seal on one of the jars of jalapeno peppers was not intact, and this resulted in nearly all of the liquid from that jar leaking out into the plastic bag and making a real mess on unpacking. The peppers in the jar with the lid seal not intact were discarded for food safety reasons.
