Does what I wanted it to. Easy to install in drywall or into the stud. One downside, if you need to remove it the head will screw off of it's post and it's difficult to remove the screw. Guess the moral of the story is install it where you want it and don't plan to move it. :)

I don't know why I delayed making this purchase-I was concerned I would have to find a stud or that I would have holes to fill when I missed the stud. All of that worry was not justified, these hooks are great. The hinge nut that comes with the hook works perfectly with just drywall and it's extremely sturdy. And it looks fantastic. Will definitely purchase more.

Love these hooks to hang things from the ceiling or wall. The instructions and installation are straightforward and easy to follow. The hook is sturdy enough for a heavier macrame potted plant. These are also used for hanging a pendant light on our porch.

They work as shown in the picture I like that you have two sets of hardware to do what you need to do if you had a stud just use the screw in piece and if you hit drywall just use the butterfly works great. I hung up a shop light with one in my reload room. Hung up a ceramic wind chime in my wife's bedroom worth the money.

These things are great for hanging plants or plant lights from your ceiling. It was an easier process than I thought it would be. I have many plants that I overwinter in the house or garage so these hooks are a life saver. Many of the hooks that come with the lights are brass or silver, I prefer a white finish to blend with the ceiling because I will remove the plants and lights in the spring.

Sturdy, well made, and easy clear instructions. I like the fact that it is metal, it won't break and there is no way this is coming out of my ceiling without effort. But, it you do change your mind, you can putty up the 5/8” hole you are going to put in your ceiling. Worth it!

This hook is well made and I was able to securely display a hanging flower planter on the front of my house. I like that its appearance is neutral, but not too plain, which is nice for display on the front entryway of my house. I also like that the hook has a reliable 30 lb. weight limit since the planter gets quite heavy after watering or rainfall. I would buy this product again and recommend it.

I'm using these ceiling hooks to hang house plants. I'm running out of surface space with bringing house plants in from outside for the winter. I think I can keep under the weight limit. I appreciate that there are 2 easy options as far as installing the hooks. I've had this type hook before and never had an issue. The perfect solution when you have lots of plants.

Perfect for hanging a proper vintage swag light. These hooks are my go to each time I get a new one. The hooks themselves have a classic (vintage) style. I appreciate that too (it's why I get these). I hung a lighted lucite grape cluster from this bigger sized hook. I feel comfortable using this hook to keep my grapes safe. I'm building a furture estate sale I hope folks will fight over. Keeping my treasures safe is very important to me.

Room for a large macrame plant holder in the hook. I have a giant spider plant and needed something heavy duty. This holds it no problem and easy to install. Just create a hole in your ceiling drywall that'll fit the clip thru. Push it in and twist the hook till it meets the ceiling. the cap part will cover the excess of the hole and you never see it. Good product!
