When the strips are new from the store they are great, but they have a shelf life. Yes, they loose their sticking power and stuff starts falling off the wall if you have been storing them in a drawer for future use. So just buy what you need right now.

It's a good product, but pricey for what it is. That being said, the name brand is the best quality you'll get, so it is worth shelling out a few extra bucks to get the ones that work.

I would strongly recommend this product, especially if you are trying to space save. I was able to use it to secure some things on the wall and they have yet to fall down. I strongly recommend this product.

For when you trust… but also double check. These hold surprisingly well for heavier stuff. Frames, mirrors, things you normally would not risk without a nail—these can handle it if you prep the wall right. Key is patience: clean surface, press firmly, wait the full time. Skip that and you are asking for a dramatic fall later. Love that you can hang things without committing to holes in the wall. Strong, convenient, just respect the instructions or they will humble you.

I purchased these command strips for pictures--by weight--relying on the stated claims of being able to sustain 20lbs. The decorative pieces I needed to hand fall far below that weight threshold. While applying these strips is super simple, and takes mere seconds, there is something wrong with the adhesive of this pack. Out of the box, once the backing was removed, the adhesive didn't feel very tacky or sticky at all. I tried the decorative dollar pieces I wanted to hang and even those inexpensive, light weight pieces held for no more than an hour before hitting the floor. I've used this brand before with success and I do believe this was/is a bad batch. Based on that I would suggest trying another product if you're looking to hand something of substantial weight.

if i could give this JUNK 0 stars i would have!! none of my pictures stayed up more than a week. when they started falling off the walls the sticky part was dry as dirt!! as many as i bought and as much as i paid for them i should havd just set my money on fire these things are worthless!!

I followed the instructions EXACTLY! I literally tried to hang a picture and used all of my strips trying to hang my canvas 1 pound picture. When I got to the step where you peel them apart to be able to press down then wait an hour- the picture would not separate. It kept pulling off the wall entirely, I had to keep redoing the strips because the adhesive would wear off. Waste of money!!

The new clear backing is very difficult to remove and the product seems to have changed for the worse. I used the entire package on a very light item and it fell off with minutes despite following the directions.

he definitely don't live up to the hype. They don't hold enough weight even though the weight states a certain amount it's still even if you're under this will be falling off the walls. This is definitely not something I would repurchase again.

I purchased this item back to back because I thought it was my fault somehow despite following directions to a "T" and allowing the cleaned wall to set using half the package and the other half holding a <5 pound mosaic. technically, this should have held about 200 pounds. Spoiler alert, it didn't. The yellowing should have been a giveaway, these go bad before you can even use them.
