Hyper Tough 7oz Wood Handle Claw Hammer with Smooth Face

A good value for the money. It was heavier than I expected since I just needed a small hammer to use with small tacks. I'd call this a mid-sized hammer.

I have six hammers in my shop and this is the one I seem to grab most often because it's light and easy to maneuver. Skip it if you're driving large nails or doing pro level construction, but it's great for hobbyist/ diy folks.

This is a good household type hammer, suitable for hanging pictures and other wall hangings that need a nail to hold the hanger. it's not real heavy, yet heavy enough to drive nails to hang pictures or medium impact carpentry. Overall, a decent quality hammer.

I have never heard of the “Hyper Tough” brand, but this lightweight hammer has proven perfect for hanging up paintings. The hammer is not to heavy yet not to light for the task. I'm sure there are a myriad of reasons to need a hammer, but for me, this hammer proved the proper balance of what I needed to complete my around the house project.

This was just right I stay in apartment and need to put up some pictures. This worked perfect for me and it was a reasonable price. That’s why I like Walmart.

This hammer is a tiny bit smaller than the average hammer, but it fits better into smaller hands, and it handles much better when used by a woman. ...And it cost MUCH less than the others but works every bit as good!

Great little hammer for small jobs. It's so handy to drive little nails and tacks. I even need it for thumb tacks. This is my second one as a family member needed one also. Makes a nice little gift.

Not sure how long the hammer head will remain secure but till then it's very useful for smaller nails / spaces where std 16 oz. hammer is just too unwieldily. Would like a fiberglass handle to cushion blows but should not be hammering head too hard since it is so light. As such, wood handle could be textured in some way to reduce slippage since the handle is not contoured to ergonomically fit your grip.

It's very light. Doesn't feel like its got much to it when it swings, but you don't need much to hammer a back nail it or wedge a chisel into a light material. Not the best hammer, but its balanced enough to be useful for normal household things.

The head of the hammer was covered in a plastic film that needed to be removed and was not easy to remove. If it wasn't so cheap I definately would have returned it.
