Command Large Replacement Strips for Hooks, Foam, Plastic, 8 Adhesive Strips, 17023-8ESF

Again, I have four kids at home and therefore we go through a lot of these hooks because our backpacks because my kids are rough on their backpacks so the hooks pop off of the walls often and I'm going through the refill strips often too. We like them they don't ruin the wall and they are a good brand which we've been using for years.

The Command Large Replacement Strips make it simple to reuse existing hooks or hang new items without damaging walls. I used them to rehang picture frames and lightweight organizers, and they held firmly after following the cleaning and wait-time instructions. What I like most is that they truly remove cleanly with no residue and save money by reusing existing hooks instead of buying new ones. The adhesive feels strong enough to handle moderate weight when used on smooth surfaces. On the downside, they are slightly more expensive than other adhesive strips and may not stick as well to textured or porous walls. These are reliable and convenient for renters or anyone wanting an easy, damage-free hanging solution.

The one I had actually ordered came with alot more strips and sizes for the same price. I received half the command strips and paid the same price. The only reason I ordered them in first place was because of the variety and price point.

I've used these for years for decorating for Christmas, leaving pictures up for 6-8 weeks. Bought a bunch to use while determining arrangements for our basement walls. For the first time ever, I had pictures fall off the wall within 24-48 hours of being hung. Three of the 40 that we hung, but still.... any falling is unacceptable. Still easy to use, and I have others new ones with clear strips holding; but something is wrong with the white large strips, and I don't trust them any more.

3 out of 5, original items were switched when I didn't ask for a substitution. I need the 16 count with the variety of sizes. There was no notice sent to ask if I would like a refund for the items that were not available.

These command strips did not keep a command hook safely on the wall. Could not even hold a child's coat for longer than 5 minutes. After the hook fell off the wall, it was discovered that the command strips were not sticky anymore.

I used to be obsessed with these strips and used them to hang everything on the planet I could. Over the past few years, they've become useless. The old ones are still on my wall but the new ones fall within a day. They're not sticky at all and can be peeled off without any effort. 3m/command/whoever fell for the trap of lower quality to save money and the product is worthless now.
