Great for putting up mirrors- completely my home gym using Alien tape

Box says “great for hang frames on any surface “. Well i hope you read directions inside because it says NOT for painted walls-may cause paint to peel. It is though very sticky and two little pieces have held big rug in place. Bought for painted wall so i have lots i cant use yet.

My husband and I bought our first house together and were so excited to start making our house a home. We bought alien tape and started hanging pictures up in our two guest rooms, we followed the directions and put a strip of alien tape on the top and bottom of the picture frames. However, several days after hanging the pictures they started to fall off the wall. We then decided to put four strips of tape on each picture frame, one on the top, bottom and sides of each picture frame. Once again, a few days later the pictures started falling off the wall. My husband and I decided that we were going to take the rest of the pictures off the wall and then put them back up with nails. When my husband tried to take the remaining pictures off of the wall by following the directions by twisting the frames, the frames broke and also took the paint and drywall off of our wall. Alien tape is good for small projects that are light and will not need to be removed but can stay permanently where you first put the item. I would use them for hanging pictures.

i used this to put up 2 different floating shelves, since it would be easier than measuring and drilling. The first shelf i hung, after it was up for a while, I put my motem and router on it. Everything seemed good, until like a few hours later, i heard this big crash! i jumped up and ran toward the noise, only to find the shelf fallen with my router and motem laying there. The worst part about it is that everything landed on my work computer! Luckily nothing broke, but i did have to end up hanging with screws and i haven't had a problem since! Picture is after i had to screw shelf in, but exact same stuff is on the shelf!

false advertising on the box i was so happy to get this home and hang my pictures up on the wall as it shows on the box , i opened the box and went straight to reading the instructions and the first thing i read my be permanent and damage painted walls an or sheetrock smh that's all i have surrounding me in my apartment. I will be taking this back and getting my refund

The advertisement for this tape is completely false. My clock fell on the wall off the wall on the floor and it was a plastic clock. It must've weighed 6 ounces. It broken in pieces I had a picture to fall down and I have these very little small aluminum type coffee cups that you put in your kitchen on the wall. I use this tape. One of them keeps falling all the time. The commercial is not true. It's very deceiving and it cost me my clock. It ruined my wall.

It would not stick to my outside panel

Just arrived today. Haven't tried to use it yet, but am irritated that this is false advertising. It is NOT the Alien Tape that I ordered. It is Mendyl tape that is apparently a poor substitute. Walmart is LYING to us by advertising one product but sending another. I don't care if it works like a dream, this is false advertisement and they will NOT send you this product/box. I'd give it zero stars without even using it.

This product is only good for applying to porcelain, glass, plastic, metal, and maybe heavily laminated surfaces. I applied two small strips to a wall surface and now there is major damage. This tape will dehydrate and cling even tighter to the surface it is attached to. In the case of painted walls it will pull the paint right off of the walls.

apparently this seller doesn't send nanotape to anybody cuz I read the reviews and I'm not the only one who didn't get what I ordered. zero stars for product and seller!!! you had no right switching the item that I ordered and paid for 😡 you got one star because they won't let me post without it but as far as I'm concerned zero stars for the product zero stars for seller
