rod holder
It seems like it might work if you had it attached to like a 2 x 4 on a dock That's perpendicular to the ground or water because it didn't work on my boat, which is aluminum and has slanted side.That's angled and isn't gonna work at all on that.

Clamp not sturdy to keep it's shape likewise bends out to open thus no steady grip on the railings it mounts on.

Super cheesy and bendy clamp to small and odd shaped to clamped on to anything.

Works slightly
Great idea but didn't work as expected. Don't try to use on a plastic boat it will not clamp on tight enough. And when I tried it on my family's pontoon it started to rip the paint off the door as I tightened it. You get what you pay for.

Completely Unsatisfied
I was so excited to use this pole holder at the pier and was greatly disappointed to find that it hardly served it's purpose. It was my fault really for thinking that this would hold on any rail. It should've been obvious that this would not support a pole on a rail. After clamping it as hard as I could, my rode would still rotate back and forth on the holder. Even nearly dropping my pole into the lake.
