These are great for holding your second pole or relaxing while using one pole. Just wish my son would remember to bring it home with him. I'm pretty sure this is the fifth one I've purchased.

Strong sturdy metal. Great price. Comes in handy to when you leave your bait while on the rod and set this in place while you go get your beer. As long as you secure this deep enough it doesn't pop out so easy.

Normally I'm not a very elaborate or overly complicated guy, and I'll find a forked stick on the ground to use for my fishing rod. But earlier I was looking for something inexpensive while online shopping to break the $35 mark to get my free shipping (haha) and came across this. I figured for the low price it was that I'd chance it. And boy am I glad I did! It's nothing fancy but feels quality. I've ended up using it way more than I anticipated and even appreciate the bright orange color. It makes it so that it's hard to forget when packing up at the end of the day. It doesn't add much bulk in my pack when pond hopping despite being made of solid metal and allows me to increase my chances of a catch while fishing alone. I highly recommend picking one up if you're on the fence and seeing if it makes a difference for you!

Bought it on line and it was smaller than I expected . It won;t hold the rods I wanted to use it with

It's great if the rod fits. Most of my light tackle rods fit, except for the rod I bought it for. I'll need to modify with a two inch wide pvc tube to fit over it for my rod that doesn't fit. Ashame this rod holder isn't a tad wider.

Don't get me wrong the product is sturdy and durable. The problem is they don't give you the exact specs. So the picture makes it look bigger than it actually is. Again great product just make sure you get the right size. returning today and hopefully the new ones get here asap.
