I am disappointed with the plain Jane cover. Previous journals had a nice black and white floral cover. But they will have to do the job of keeping our family recipes safely for the next generation of users both cooks and bakers.

This notepad hits all the points I'm looking for in a notepad: it's top spiral bound, it's not Gregg ruled like a steno pad, it has a sturdy front and back, and the paper is perforated, so it's easy to tear out sheets. Walmart only carries notebooks like these very occasionally, so I try to pick up as many as I can and maintain a stash!

My kiddo and my grandma had a great time using it to practice writing my toddlers name :) very durable and didn't fall apart even with my toddlers antics. Perfect for him to use to practice, as well as my grandma to make her grocery lists!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This too bound notebook is perfect for the note taker. The quality of the spiral is great and it is durable and versatile as you can write freely being the spiral bound is on the top of the paper. A must have!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This journal is a lot better made than what I was expecting it to be.. It’s very durable quality heavy weight paper with 80 sheets.. These journals are so handy and helpful for a lot of stuff like keeping up with bills or schedules not just a journal.. I love that it’s a spiral journal you don’t have to worry about the papers ripping out like the dotted line journals.. I love the size of the journal it’s not to big or little just the right size to be handy to take wherever you need to take it.. Great option and not expensive!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this journal! As an avid writer and junk journaler I carry a notebook with me at all times. The pages are thick and smooth and will do well when thrown in my bag on the go. My only issue is the size which is quite big.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Pen and Gear Top Spiral Journal is an okay option for an affordable small notebook. The company size makes it easy to carry in a small backpack or purse. The paper quality is not great for heavy inked pens or markers because it will bleed through. The cover one one side is durable enough for daily wear and tear but the other black side seems to be a paper material and as you can see from my photo if it gets wet it will stain. Overall, I feel there are better notebooks for durability or paper quality but for an affordable option this will work.
