I gave this as a gift. The pens are refillable, erasable and retractable and they work. Love erasing ink. My writing looks so much better now that ink erases. I bought some for myself also. Love them. Journal is NICE. Impressive having the dates as they do. Recommend the purchase.

Great paper, fountain pen friendly

I absolutely love the size of this notebook and it is college ruled size lines. The notebook has months and dates on the top to make dating a page easier. The paper is heavyweight 100 GSM paper, durable with perforated edges for neat and easy tear ability. Thank you influenster! I can't wait to use it at school!

I am a college student and this is great for note taking purpose. This is a great multi purpose item to keep lists in including grocery list and goal list as well as appointment reminders.

Cover is simulated leather but looks and feels like canvas. 80 sheets of heavyweight ruled paper and not too large size at 8.5 x 11 can fit in most backpack or laptop bag.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. This notebook is honestly just “fine” all things considered. The cover is supposed to be “simulated leather” but has a weird texture to it and almost feels slightly greasy? Maybe this will wear off. It also had some pretty significant lines marked into the cover from the shipping container, unclear if these will fade or be permanent. The cover also just picked up a lot of “fuzz” from the box. I could see this being difficult to shove into a bag or backpack quickly and picking up lint from said bag. The black cover had the opportunity it to be “sleek” but the material is detracting from that. The paper itself is nice, smooth and thick. The top binding is nice for both right and left handed people. I tried my favorite writing utensils on it and found there was minimal bleed thru or showing through the paper. The paper did start to deteriorate when I went over the same spot multiple times with a highlighter, that spot also had some bleed thru to the back side, which is inconvenient since this notebook is designed to be two sided. Depending on what kind of writing utensils you use, this may or may not be an issue. My pencil marks erased cleanly. The calendar marking options at the top of the page are a nice touch and I appreciate the “elegant” font choice. I also appreciate that these marks are at the top of both sides of the paper. The edges are perforated so you can get a clean tear from the notebook. The perforation was easy to use and tore cleanly with some care. The exterior of the notebook really diminished the quality for me, but as a notebook to just keep sitting on your desk it serves its purpose. If you're looking for something more elevated then I would look elsewhere.
