I keep a jar of this next to the bed because I'm diabetic and wake up with low blood sugar in the middle of the night. This peanut butter is an excellent quality choice for my nightly routine, as it is consistently fresh and delicious. It provides a flavorful and gentle way to stabilize my sugar levels quickly so I can get back to sleep.
I think Peter Pan is the best peanut butter you can buy. I have tried many other brand but always come back to Peter Pan and the price is good compared to other items theses days. I keep it next to my bed
My family are strictly Peter Pan eaters. My parents eat with zesta crackers every evening as a snack.
Peter Pan creamy peanut butter spreads evenly and is very flavorful. We switched brands awhile ago because of availability and we are glad we did! It is eaten almost every day from sandwiches, to dipping in, all the way to baking.
My husband and I did our own taste test. Bought jars of Peter Pan, Jif, Skippy and Great Value. My husband has ALWAYS, for 20 yrs. of marriage, "Don't buy me anything but Skippy!" Well, Skippy came in last place! We decided Peter Pan for sandwiches (not too sweet after adding jam or jelly), Jif and/or Great Value for cooking (Great Value doesn't taste like Jif. Jif is sweeter and more peanutter but sandwiches are too sweet after adding jam or jelly). Great Value is just less expensive than Jif or PP to cook with. Skippy IS still good.... we were just surprised the others were better. 🤷🏼♀️
I really like, and Peter Pan is my favorite peanut butter. I prefer the creamy variety. I like the creamy texture. I like the peanut taste with and without marmalade . I like the familiar brand from years ago. I even like and prefer this style jar. The jar is more stable. Easier and cleaner to serve from. There are no children in my household. So, I do not use a lot of peanut butter. But, I use it a few times every week. Peter Pan is definitely the peanut butter I always choose.
I ordered 2 jars. one of the two was delivered broken open and had to be tossed out. I never got my replacement I was told would come.
It works well. A bit pricey. May cause gas.
Usually good. The taste and texture we've become accustomed to over the years. While the price per ounce has skyrocketed. Sometimes though the consistency has changed... not sure if they added extra hydrogenated veg-oil or maybe even tried to stretch it with liquids. Or possibly it was stored too long in a warm location. But - for the outlandish price we're paying - it should be a reliable product. Do I recommend it??? That's not my place. There are several other less-expensive brands that can be comparable in taste. And everyone has an opinion (plus it's still - just barely - a free country)
I picked this item because I was looking for a healthy alternative to peanut butter that has a lot of additives. I tried this peanut butter and the taste is very dull, dry, and I also experienced chest pain afterwards. I was very dissatisfied and would not buy again.
