This project has helped me many times over matter of fact I thought it was asthma my surprise it was the onset of emphysema. So they placed me on incruse then prescribed another product to use instead of primateen, then stopped giving me the prescription. Tired of the endless fight of getting a refill I'm now using primateen mist as my emergency inhaler. Not going down with out a fight.
I have allergy induced breathing issues that mimic a form of anaphylaxis, making it difficult for me to breathe when dusting or my dander allergies are triggered. The epinephrine in this pump works for me better than the albuterol pumps that are prescribed by the doctor. I don't have asthma, I have allergies.
When your choices are “breathe” vs “not breathe” because some idiot doc who doesn’t even know you but replaced your primary doc of 15 years refuses to refill your prescription for albuterol and a steroid inhaler (despite your paralyzed vocal cord and history of pneumonia and other bronchial issues), this is definitely what you need!
Having this available again makes my life easier. If you need an inhaler and can't afford an office visit to get a script this will help. Sadly, medicine is now a business in the US. It is all about making money but this will help you to save some money. This works as an inhaler to help you breathe and works as well now as it did years ago.
We buy this for my mother who has a lung disease and when she runs out of her prescription medication this is what we buy bcz it's actually the same thing. She really can't breathe without it and so it's nothing like the other OTC meds that you can get. This is really the same as her prescribed meds which I can't think of the actual name right now but if you're looking for a stronger meds that really opens up your airways then this is it. I only gave it 4 stars bcz it is more expensive than the other stuff out and it is better but it needs to be a lower price so people can afford it!
when you don't have access to a new Rx until Monday then this could be a life saver..well not directly but it does open up the airway! i just don't like how it tells you to spray into the air in between puffs taken so do you really get the 160 or so metered doses? anyway, it's great for "run-out" times.
I have rare, occasional asthma and always had a prescription which ended up being thrown away because it would expire before I used all of it. Mom used Primatene many years ago before I ever needed asthma med so, thought I’d give it a try. It stops my asthama quickly when I feel it coming on. No jitters or other side affects It works!
This stuff saved us when we were in a bind waiting on my husband’s appointment he had a breathing scare and I hadn’t heard of this before then. I went right to Walmart to buy one and instantly my husband was breathing better and sounding like himself again. If you have asthma or sudden breathing issues and don’t have access to an emergency inhaler, this is a life saver, figuratively and literally!!
I have asthma and COPD and this is best that you can get over the counter. It was a god send to me. I had difficulty breathing all day for 3 days. I finally got the product that I needed. Was told that it would be the next day. They started grabbing the bags from the van. It's amazing that something is so effective, as effective as prescription medicine. lt really helped because I had difficulty breathing due to pollen, weather change and season.
this is great when you have congestion in your lungs from a cold that just doesn't want to go away. I would check with my doctor first but if he said it was all right then I would go ahead and use it I'm not recommending it as a physician just as a person who uses it and likes how it works.
