I have hard water and this fish disolves minerals and other tap water ingredients. I use my expensive cool mist humidifier all day and I noticed there is no lime scale in the tank or components.

This is a must have for a humidifier. They work and they keep me from having to use the liquid bacteria preventatives. I just drop one of these in and forget about it for 30 days or longer.

I've recently started using a cool mist humidifier. These are more prone to bacterial growth and mildew. I've used this disinfecting fish in the past, but I'm honestly not sure how much it does. Some of the metal balls had leaked out of it when I open the package. Other than that, it was easy to use. I will continue to use this as long as I'm using a cool mist humidifier because I do think it helps, at least a little bit. I'm unsure what the metal balls are made of, but I assume it's some sort of metal that helps to disinfect.

this product worked for quite a while but I do wish it would have worked a little longer. kept my dehumidifier from getting mold while it was working.

I am not even sure if this works, but it makes me feel better to put it in my humidifier. I use distilled water, but still am nervous about the water growing bacteria. It is easy to use- just drops down in the tank.

These humidifier clean fish work great, but the price could be better. I mean, you only get 2 in the package, which means you have to buy them all the time!

It is large for the opening of my pore humidifier off Amazon… I sawed the top fin part off and it was able to squeeze in UGH! At least the top part is a separate compartment so the beads are still contained in the bottom part! UGH. Lol haven't used it yet but that alone is a deterrent to buy this item.
