I've used several windshield washer fluids over the years, and this Rain-X Bug Remover has become one of my favorites. It does a great job removing bugs splatter and road grime and leaves the windshield clear without streaking. I also noticed the rain repellant protection makes water bead up nicely, which helps visibility during rain. It pours easily and has worked well in my vehicles with no issues. Overall, a good value and something I'll continue to buy. I always get the green for summer and the orange for the winter.
I went through the first bottle immediately. It turns out there are many vehicles without much windshield washer fluid. Sometimes when you get maintenance for your car, they will add washer fluid, but life can cause dirty windshields so you might need 2 of these. Winter may be a dirt generator, but I noticed that bugs and GEESE! Geese can leave a big splotch. It was very easy to add the washer fluid. It might be something that you've never done before. You open the hood and look for the place to put the washer fluid (you can watch a video if you want). Open the cap, and poor it in. I didn't need a funnel, but if you feel more comfortable, you could get one. You just fill up the fluid and put the cap back on. It's easy and the next time bugs or GEESE get your windshield dirty, you'll be glad you did.
This is the best winshield washer fluid I've used...it cleans all the splattered bugs so well without streaking. I'm glad I found it...I will continue to purchase this brand. It's also wonderful that they will ship them if you order 2 and i'ts cheaper than going to the store and you'll have another one...so you won't run out.
This stuff gets put in your car so when you need to clear your windshield it sprays and the wipers clear away the greasy film , so you can see the world in front of you in sharp focus. Every safety minded person should try this product. Here in deep hot South in Sept and May is the “ love bug” seasonal swarm of these critters. They wind up on the front of your car and windshield. This window cleaning solution cleans the greasy like smears from the glass. It's much better than plain water. Takes care of glass effectively.. still have to deal with the front of your car unless it's wearing a car bra. Those insects if not removed will mess up the paint job on the front end. Window washer spray is helpful clearing the random bird dropping, the random grasshoppers beetles and butterflies and moths that become fatalities on your windshield. Who wants to view the gore left on your windshield. Improve your view when you are driving and stay safe snd focused. You' ll be glad you did.
I can't stand to have a dirty windshield. I live in the pollen capital of the world. I do believe Atlanta, Georgia. I go through a lot of windshield wiper fluid. My car holds over a gallon and it cleans my headlights and my windshield so it uses more than normal probably. I ordered this in bulk from my husband's car and mine.
This bug windshield works so well I'm pretty sure the insects now hold meetings about how to get around it. The material is solid, and putting it on and off is so easy it feels like my car is getting dressed for battle. Zero bug guts on the glass — victory.
I love the Rain X products! I buy this every year for the summer and the I buy the winter de-Icer for winter. This solution helps greatly with repelling the rain off your windshield as well it helps prevent bug splatter build up. The bugs tend to slide off the glass and not create near the mess. The solution makes it easier to clean any debris off the windshield. It does a great job cleaning the glass. A
This product is great! Love bugs?! Nobody loves them. The rain of bug guts that covers your winshield is removed quickly and easily by using the Rain-X Bug Remover Windshield Washer Fluid and setting your windshield wipers at the highest setting. Bug guts gone in seconds. The only drawback I have about this product is that when it is dark and the mist from the night time fog collects on the wind shield and you use the wipers to remove the mist, it causes a horible glare when the lights of oncoming traffic shines on your windshield almost blinding you. So if you do a lot of driving at nighttime in the fog, that's the only time I wouldn't recomend using it.
This really leaves my windshield very streaked. I'm use to using the Orange Rain-X and never had any complaints about it. However in the Summer , i thought i would try the "Bug Remover" , and it was a little bit cheaper . Will NEVER buy this type again
This was NOT what i had ordered. For the future, not all customers are around there cell phones, so if the shopper doesn't get any response it would be better to NOT ASSUME its okay to substitute any items on a shopping list. Only if the buyer verifies the substitute back to the shopper. Life can get super busy,.not every person keeps there cell phone attached to them.
