This peanutbutter is so good. It's creamy, delicious, and sugar-free! Wether it is for PB %26 J sandwiches, cookie recipes, a dip w/celery, or on crackers as a snack, we go through so much of it, so fast, in our house that I buy the largest size every time.!
Good peanut butter for Diabetics like me because it has No Added Sugar. Because there is no sugar added, its not as good as regular Skippy Creamy Peanut Butter. However, you get used to it after a while. It's healthier for Diabetics. Just make sure to pair this with Whole Grain bread.
Great peanut butter! It has a thicker consistency, but it is smooth, rich, and creamy. As a diabetic, I highly recommend. I can eat this and my glucose levels are stable. The only problem is that it's not on the shelves locally. I make sure to order 2 at a time.
Peanut butter does not ever need sugar and this is delicious. My elderly mother eats a jar of this each week and it helps get protein and good fats into her diet, and it's safe to to share with the dogs as well, no artitifical sweeteners to worry about. Add a fruit only jelly and it makes a great peanut butter and jelly sandwich. So glad Walmart carries this variety.
the texture, taste, everything are wonderful. i was thinking that my having developed diabetes would prevent me from enjoying peanut butter again. luckily i was wrong
I don't eat a lot of sugar, so I like to choose low or no sugar options when I can. This was a miss. Guess I didn't realize how integral sugar was to peanut butter... Used to make it at the store grinder pre rona, and never needed sugar then, not sure what has changed. I ate some with celery, as I will do occasionally as a snack, and I almost couldn't get through it, in fact, I just ate the last of the celery alone. For me, this one I won't purchase again. I'll just eat the regular, natural one that I get, and eat less. I'm not a fan of the unadulterated ones that have the oil setting on top, I can never seem to get the texture right, I just don't eat enough peanut butter to unravel that particular challenge, but this no sugar added was a miss. Maybe I'll add some stevia and play with the rest of the jar...
Its just good peanut butter. No sugar and no additives other than palm oil to homogenize it and keep it from separating. Which it does but it takes a while. It doesn't have AS much of a peanut-punch in flavor compared to Natural-style stuff but its probably the best 1:1 of any creamy peanut butter when it comes to texture. Still tastes great if you're watching your sugar intake.
SKIPPY is a very good product - a fine peanut butter!! Long ago, we watched a "Taste Test" on peanut butter. According to "ATK" - SKIPPY PB came out On Top!! We agree with America's Test Kitchen, PBS network. Next, we hope the next time a "change" is made for SKIPPY, that a "No Added Oil" will be the result. Good PB!!
It can get a little thin and needs stirring if you leave it on the counter. If you're type 2 diabetic or diabetic you can use this with keto bread.
I've been buying Great Value Natural peanut butter, but it seems the quality has dropped, because it tastes oily and overly sweet. So, I bought Crazy Richard's, which is very good, though a little pricey. Now I'm trying this Skippy, which I won't buy again. It has zero flavor. It must be made of packaging peanuts. The Crazy Richard's I have right now is 100% peanuts, and tastes very good, just like peanuts. This Skippy tastes like nothing. Now I have a 40 ounce jar to dispose of. If anyone wants it, drop by and it's yours for free (phone in advance).
