Excellent whole wheat flour

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With this dough, we prepare Chapati (unleavened flat bread). Please see the attached image for Chapti. I am a diabetic and I found the glycemic rate of this dough is very slow and regular. My sugar levels did not increase as rapidly as some of the other dough we used earlier. The taste is very good.

This company is employee owned and operated in the USA. So Awesome!!!! The flour is not bleached so it retains its high protein and nutritional value. I use this in my sour dough starter and in recipes. Delicious!

I decided on a whim to start making sourdough and this is my go to flour. The quality is great and it seems to be the brand of choice for other sourdough Swifties.

Good for bread

There are fewer options for whole wheat flours, so I was glad that this turned out to be a good one. It is denser than white flour, but I still enjoy breads made only with it and the gluten content seems to be well balanced for breads. The grind makes for easy mixing and the flavor is pleasantly nutty. I also feel great after eating it. If you haven't tried it yet, I recommend it.

The photos will tell you everything about my experience. I did a pick up and of course their employee gave me the absolutely worst item on the shelf, to the point where it was double bagged and put in with my other flour that was perfectly fine. First you'll notice a nice hole in the product itself, and flour all over the place. You will also notice that the product looks very thin at the top, which I thought about and put it on my food scale. With all the bags, the thick bag the flour comes in and all the flour that was leaked out, it was under 5lbs, so just how much flour was lost before the employee picked this item? I don't know, but it's alot. Not a good experience.

I hate wasting food but I have to throw this whole bag away because it was delivered with a tear. I don’t know if it was torn during shopping or while in transport but I’m disappointed I won’t be able to use it after waiting for it.

Both bags had weevils crawling- darker spots in photo - dark spots on sides of bags - my video if we could send to you shows both bags crawling - these bags are in sealed plastic containers with lids with rubber air tight lids - eggs had to have been inside - all other flour has no weevils except these 2 Charlene Rikard X 2 bags ( tried to edit subject line ) the z = x 2 bags

The flour packaging is too simple and shabby. One of the bags was broken open when it arrived, and a lot of flour spilled out.
