Can't go wrong w/Martha White self-rising cornmeal
It rises great and I love the yellow corn meal. I love anything Martha White. It is always delicious for any occasion, and it is always a hit! Just add some butter or put it in your pinto beans, add onion , and a glass of buttermilk, and oh my, you have a meal!

I make a few pans of cornbread a week from scratch because I enjoy cornbread and it goes with about everything. This mix is the best I've found that is well priced, tastes great, and ends up making great tasting big pans of cornbread.

This is the brand of cornmeal I use. I have used Martha White Yellow Self Rising Cornmeal for years. Unfortunately it is not sold in my area anymore. However, I'm glad that I can still purchase it online from Walmart.

Corn meal bag should not be open
Purchase this thru delivery and the bag was completely open when I got it so not sure if it was done in store or by delivery person but to be on the safe side I threw the bag away and was a little disappointed because I was going to make some hot water cornbread

Not about the product but about Walmart Delivery
Item arrived opened! Asked for a refund and Walmart says have to return to store for a refund. Not worth the drive to Walmart to return. Need to shop elsewhere if having delivery services!

I received this product the end of May 2026 and the expiration date on this 10 pounds of cornmeal is September 22, 2026. I don't think there's too many people that could use up 10 pounds of corn Meal in four months. When they sell this, you should have at least a year to use it up in all honesty. I can't imagine using that much cornmeal even in a year..

seller is doing fraud sales
the seller has a fraud setup on item ,,switch n bait offer 1 item costs higher so victom chooses the 2 pack which never arrives as 2 pack but only single package I ordered 24 bags of this and only 12 bags were received totall of the 24 bags shipping shows 6 qt but that quantity is not 2 packs each but only 6 bags so beware this seller reaping huge sums money doing this against buyers thats fraud and turning it in as such .And going ask walmart for refund funds for items not received that bought and paid for .So beware this seller .How to prove this order some then check the weight from what fedex shows it clearly that seller doing fraud sales.A shipment supposed be 60 lbs is only 30 lbs shown clearly by fedex weight
