White Lily Self Rising Flour, 5 lb Bag

Being in Ohio White Lily flour is hard to find. I searched everywhere and could not find any. Walmart.com came to my rescue. Delivery was fast and my favorite flour was shipped from good old Tennessee. Thank you Walmart for good packaging it was safe and sound!

Ive always want to try this flour for making biscuits, but it was always sold out. My biscuits turned out great. My family loves them. I have already purchased 2 more 5lb bags, the price is great. Especially since I can not purchase where I live.

I love this flour and have used it for years. It makes great biscuits, bagels among other things for me. I am very picky with flour since I have tried many different ones and always get better results with this one. It has the soft winter wheat and rises well with fluffier breads each time. I would always ask my family to bring me some as a gift when they are visiting from NC.

I think 4 pks of 5lb flour for the price was a great deal, however, flour was spilled all over the bag and after storing them in my air tight containers for a month, meal bugs hatched in them!

I did not get my flour. I got someone elses, "Honest sensitive clean conscious wipes fragrance free. I received two 72 packs of wipes". I have no idea what the price difference is, but I would have really preferred my flour. I just went in the bag tonight because I was about putting everything away. I didn't complain about the rotten bananas, I just peeled the rotten parts off and ate the rest I did get a bag of salad because I had to report one that was completely rotten but this is ridiculous. If you are not going to send people what they order then you all need to either retrain, rehire, or just stop the program. We can come out and shop if we can't get what we want when we order it. This is, this is really ridiculous. I had to go to the hospital because I had had a 6'4 installing signs in a store window. or else I would have done my own shopping. You all have shown me that that is exactly what I need to do henceforth. It was only two items!

My problem with this product is not with the quality of the product, rather with the was it was shipped. This came in a two pk. Two bags of flour. One bag of flour was damaged in shipping. I could not use 1 bag at all. The flour should have been packed in a plastic bag. There was flour all over the box and all my other items. I contacted Walmart and no one ever responded to me. I will include pictures.

I was so excited to FINALLY find this flour in stock and available for delivery. I recieved it today and was very upset to see that it expires on August 14, 2021. It's June 12th. Therefore, I have very little time to use a give pound bag of flour. I know that you can typically use flour past it's best by date, especially if you store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator or freezer. However, this DOES NOT apply to self-rising flour because the leavening agents will break down and your baked goods will not rise. So. Excited to have the flour my grandmother used to make her biscuits (I am trying to recreate them) but disappointed that I have such a brief window to use this bag. It's only 2.78 per bag so hopefully it will stay in stock and I can get more, but I truly hate being wasteful and it will be hard to throw it out if I can't use it all.
