I found no difference between the Great Value brand vs national brands. GV black beans' quality is consistent; can is almost full to top with minimum liquid taking up can space. I have noticed some national brands have much more liquid covering beans. I love the pull-top lid. So easy and convenient.

I use these beans when I want a simple meal sometimes it's easier just to open again and add a little bit of seasonings instead of waiting for hours and these means are completely recommended. It has no salt and no seasoning so you can make them the way you want.

I always have at least three cans of these on hand I like these, and they also have seasoned the Walmart brand always cheaper than the name brand, but I love the taste in the texture of their black beans of Walmarts! I mix this usually with a can of corn cut up some mini peppers.
